This is just over 45 hours on audio. Holy crap! I'm a little intimidated by this. So far my longest audio was maybe 25 hours. Has anyone else read This? Did you like it?

DrexEdit I read the print book and loved it. Haven't read any others in the series though yet! 3w
Owlizabeth I absolutely adore this series, but I‘ve only read, not listened. But if you‘re into epic fantasy, these are fantastic. 3w

I was expecting to really love this instead I just found the entire story to be ok with a good ending. It has many layers but ultimately the character Less ends up becoming like his own fictional character "Swift", hard to feel sorry for. The end ties it together nicely though. #49 #2019

So... I'm only a few chapters in and I'm LOVING these moving illustrations in this book. This picture doesn't do it justice obviously because it isn't moving and litsy crop. In the book his coat is blowing in the wind and the clouds are rolling in the background. Not every picture has been motion but so far it has integrated with the story and been impressive.

My overdrive app wants me to use the Kindle version of this book but I'm having issues with it? Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

jillrhudy When you click “get Kindle book” or whatever it says in your Loans it should send you to Amazon where you go to Content and Devices and click Get Library Book and pick the Kindle you want to send it to. 2mo
kricheal @jillrhudy I've done that but it's not showing up in my Kindle app, and when I go back to try again it says that "a connection error has occured. Verify my data connection and try again". Everything else is working fine on my phone I can read it in my browser.. but it's not the same☹️ 2mo

It's crazy to believe that I've read this and it isn't fiction. I can't believe we live in the 21st century and this is the president. It's so unbelievably sad, but I will continue to stay informed on everything. #votehimout #44 #2019

Come-read-with-me @kricheal I had the same reaction - truth really is stranger than fiction these days. 2mo
kricheal @Come-read-with-me I just so happened to be reading the chapters about the way Trump handled what happened in Charlottesville the same weekend of the mass shootings. The people in his inner circle then recognized he stoked racism and hatred. I don't mind political discourse, but this goes too far, he needs to be removed from office. 2mo

I really loved this. For the the first quarter of the book I thought I was going to hate it because it was told from the perspective of child and then a preteen. Please give this book a chance, this is a complex family and emotional coming of age story. This needs a much higher rating on litsy. #36 #2019

Do yourself a favor and do not read this horrible toxic garbage- especially if you have anxiety, PTSD, grief and/or any sort of associated triggers. Disclaimer: I didn't know anything going into this book or know anything about the author. I thought it was it was going to be funny. 🤦‍♀️ The author unfortunately takes himself seriously, I'm curious to see if or how much he's respected in this field. #throwitacrosstheroom

Gezemice Haha, I tried listening to it and bailed after 15 minutes. The author was so full of himself, and sounded like an angry person who couldn‘t care less. Sorry, not someone to get life advice from. 5mo
Megabooks Yikes! Sounds terrible!!! 5mo
kricheal @Gezemice He totally invalidates people's pain. A Man was grieving for a child that he lost. The Man asked for advice from the author about his grief, the author basically(paraphrasing) said he made the choice to have grief.-- wth like that would be something he just turn off. The author wrote the book for his own ego, not to actually help anyone. 5mo
