The first half of the book was rather slow and I got a bit bored with it, but I enjoyed the second half as it much more interesting with several surprising twists.

VERY LATE Book Character Halloween Post: My Professor Trelawney! 🔮📿☕️It was so fun to dress up as this awesome and adorably quirky character, and I had fellow Wizarding World characters ( top right) at my school! Ravenclaw Professor, and the Wicked Bellatrix Lestrange and Harry Potter himself ! ⚡️💥
Currently making my way through the Harry Potter series (again) ⚡ Prisoner of Azkaban is definitely my favourite book and film of the series ❤ Fun fact: I used to be so scared of Dementors when I was younger but now I absolutely love them and they are my favourite creatures from the Harry Potter universe 🤣
#3 Wow was this ever good!
I would of never guessed the events that happenes in this book, long story short the The Prisoner Of Azkaban was a story about a man Harry thought was evil, was very close to him and now is his best friend. It sounds vague but its hard to summarize without spoiling everything haha! If you like books that make you laugh and screem at the pages (like me) this is a book for you. The genre of this book is Fanticy Ficton too.
One of my best friends has a podcast about Harry Potter. She and her co-host have asked me to answer some questions about the third HP book from a psychologist‘s point of view. So I‘m prepping my answers, so I‘ll (hopefully) be able to say something somewhat intelligent on the subject when my friend comes over later 😄
Finished my cross stitch travel poster today while listening to Trunk Music by Michael Connelly. Not quite done with the book, but I wanted to show off my project. I've been working on it about 4 weeks. I still need to iron it, so it's a little wonky, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I'm going to start an Isla Nublar (Jurassic Park) travel poster next.
I finished my PoA reread on an #audiowalk through a cool-looking neighbourhood.
I tried to start WE HUNT THE FLAME afterwards, but my mum called to tell me they might‘ve found a body in the abandoned golf course where I walk all the time. It was a bit hard to concentrate after that. Hopefully the police presence was down to something else.
Casey and I went on a longer #audiowalk this morning to take advantage of the relatively decent weather (by which I mean it was 12 instead of 1 or 2). Unfortunately, everything‘s still pretty goopy. We passed by a lot of snowfields—the curve of the ground hides most of a big one on the left of this picture—and navigated a few stretches where the path was still snowed over. Poor Casey got filthy from all the spongy grass, too. Sigh.
#ChillingPhotoChallenge #day10 #Grim I love movie Trelawney much more than the book one. Emma Thompson makes what is a very weak & annoying character, memorable & funny. #Scareathlon #TeamSlaughter 2points #PointsTotal-162
Been feeling depressed and sad over the last 24 hours due to the news cycle and was listening to HP and the Sacred Text and recalled this hope. It‘s helping.

This novel marks the first of the middle three stories of the series that I love. All three of them are my absolute favourites.
I love Harry‘s friendship with Ron and Hermione, introduced to one of my favourite characters Remus Lupin and Harry‘s relationship with Sirius begins.
As I reread HP for a twenty-ishth time (couldn‘t help myself), I just noticed something. Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere before but it seems weird to me that Dementors affected Harry to the degree he lost consciousness. Upon rereading, I realized that, of course, Harry had another (part of a) soul inside him at that time. And that soul was damaged beyond repair. That must be the true answer! 💡😎
Genre: Fantasy/ Mystery
Started: August 19
Why I Chose this: I chose this book after reading the first two books in the series and being intrigued in the concept
Summary: Harry Potter, a young wizard in training, is starting his third year at Hogwarts. As he starts another odd year at this school, he finds out the Sirius Black, a wizard gone bad, has escaped from Azkaban prison and is now after Harry to tie up Voldemort's loose ends.
As a teacher, this part of the year is the hardest. By the end of next week, I‘ll have almost 250 reports and exams to mark.
All I‘ve wanted to do every day coming home from work is to read but instead, I was so mentally and physically exhausted today I literally sat in the supermarket carpark for two hours with my groceries in the trunk and had a nana-nap.
FYI - I‘m reading a chapter before bed now 😁
Curling up under some warm blankets in bed with a well loved childhood favorite and my dog in the sweet, sweet silence that exists after the kiddo falls asleep but before the husband gets home from work are just some things that I absolutely love! #whatyoulove #selfimprovementsept @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620
I'm a bit late with this, but happy new school year at Hogwarts, everyone!!
I usually re-read my HP books almost every September, but this year I just can't find the time. Have some photos, though!
Which book is your favourite? Mine has always been The Prisoner of Azkaban and I love the illustrated edition!
I‘m onto Prisoner of Azkaban in my slow but steady read through of the French translations of the Harry Potter series! ⚡️
