I #believe that I will be able to complete my #resolution2020, which is to read two poems a week and one classic a month.
It is only after I started poetry that I realised how much I had missed it all these years. Poe took me back to college. I love it!! 🖤
I realize I‘m a day late but this is share-worthy.
Watch 10 Celebrities Read Edgar Allan Poe‘s "The Raven".
I ended up being busy after work last night and totally forgot to post, but I did want to share this awesome lunchbox a friend of mine got me for my birthday a few weeks ago. I use it to store my markers. Poe looks especially depressed in this image.

Another #raven post for #ChillingPhotoChallenge. I love Edgar Allan Poe, and I have a lot of cards and various Poe related memorabilia. I have one more thing I will take a pic of and post later today when I‘ve returned home from work.

An obvious choice for #raven but it‘s one of the 3 Poe pieces I learned in middle school, and those have always stuck with me strongly. #chillingphotochallenge #scarathlon #teamstoker @TheReadingMermaid @Clwojick
It‘s the season of the raven! 🖤
(These are crows, but 🤫)
Finished my Edgar Allen Poe summer piece! Thought some Edgar Allen Poe fans on here might like to see the light effect! I thought it was cool 🙃
I attended the Alaska State Fair yesterday and spotted this sign at the entrance. I‘ve never noticed these before, but they don‘t look new...
I just found this website called ‘Litographs‘ where they sell blankets printed with the entire text of books. How awesome?! This combines some of my favourite things: reading, being warm and lying down! The website is here: https://www.litographs.com/collections/blankets/products/raven-blanket
I really want this one!
I‘m just over here, planning my Halloween DIYs. I have always been a huge fan of The Raven, so I‘m thinking this is a must ♥️ #YearRoundHalloweenPlanning
1. White roses and blue raspberry orchids (the flowers I chose for our wedding)
2. I can't decide, I loved a few. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, Birdbox and Thirteen Reasons Why.
3. Dark. It's on Netflix. It's this amazing German mystery that takes place in the 50s, 80s and present day. I watched the whole 1st season in one sitting and the second season just dropped last week.
4. Edgar Allen Poe

I‘ve been reading a lot of Poe and Lovecraft this week. All so, so good!
Pictured here is Nevermore which is macabre mix of cloves, midnight dreary, and vanilla. #bookishcandles
I collect bookmarks, and my favourites are those from indie bookshops. I took a chance after an Instagram post I saw, and sent a sase to the shop to request a bookmark. I have never done something like that! They sent these fantastic stickers too! I may never get to visit in person, but if you happen to be in Lawrence, Kansas, please stop in to support this amazing shop, and give the kitties a scratch for me! 📚🖤
I have major ornithophobia but it was hard to not admire this sculpture made of tires!!
On the bar...😂
The Edgar Awards Nominations are out.
#LaVieBoheme First thing that came to mind!
#MyShot can become a deadly obsession for a filmmaker sometimes as an actor learns in this book inspired by Cannibal Holocaust.
"And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door"
Also, Happy Birthday to Edgar Allan Poe!
"Then our boy start thinking, Maybe God tryin' to help me forget Lenore and get them thoughts of her sweet lovin' outta my dome.
Was listening to Christopher Lee's brilliant narration of "The Raven" when this popped up in recommended videos.
Gosh was it hilarious and excellently done.
My tree topper is the best 😜 #nevermore
The metaphor and unpacking of this particular line is endless! I've been working on "The Raven" with my American Lit classes. Updated my quote board in honor! This is my favorite part of the year. Almost time for my absolute favorite #transcendentalism ! #romanticism #americanliterature #teachersoflitsy
Day 7 - #theraven #blackcatchallenge
The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor,” I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door
Only this and nothing more."
