pickIt watched the prime video series and loved it. I really like both Micheal Sheen and David Tennant so it was definitely something I wanted to watch. I had no idea that it was based off a book, but it was recommended at my library so I picked it up. The series added a romantic b-storyline but otherwise it was true to the book. I‘d recommend…I enjoyed revising these demon and angel characters so much! They are both so lovable.
THE OFFICIAL INEFFABLE GRAPHIC NOVEL IS HERE!!! So many mixed feelings about this, but it is, admittedly, fun to unpack everything.

I did not participate in the Good Omens kickstarter campaign as I wasn‘t aware of it until around the time the accusations against NG became public. If there are any littens who have contributed to the campaign, Terry Pratchett Estate posted an update that NG will not be receiving any proceeds.

It‘s as if Gaiman and Pratchett wrote the characters specifically for Tennant and Sheen.
When in doubt: read a Neil Gaiman book.
so-soI don't think I've ever even thought this, but the TV series were better. There were way too many characters, who did of said funny things that envolved the plot, but had no substance. It was however easy to follow, and I moderatly enjoyed the time, but I expected more. Maybe if I read it before I saw the series it would have been better, but we'll never know.

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wanted to read this for years but was always put off by the length. The other day I was browsing Google Books' sale section and came across the full cast audiobook for just $5.99, and I knew I had to get it. It was the longest audiobook I've listened to, but I LOVED it and couldn't stop listening! I finished it before going in to work on Thursday, and I started it all over again on my way home that night! It's so much fun!

so-soI didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, probably because I watched the show first. It did have some funny moments though, and I found myself laughing out loud. I might give it another shot someday.

I had to buy a second book to replace the Good Omens I lost on a road trip years ago. Original GO I hope you found a good home in South Dakota.
I have never read Pratchett and have only read a couple of Gaiman's books, but I've always wanted to read 'Good Omens.' Now, I have to because I've already watched the first season of the series on Prime, and I don't want to watch the second season without reading it first.

pickGood Omens became a comfort show for me. I found that when everything felt wrong, watching the show made it all feel better.
So finally reading the book was fun for me, I really enjoyed it. I bounced back and forth between the physical copy I received from @TheDaysGoBy (thank you again❤️), and the audiobook while I was at work.
It's a very fun read, 10/10

pickThe writing duo of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman is nothing short of a literary dream team. Aziraphale and Crowley are Heaven and Hell's version of the Odd Couple, but for me, Adam is the heart of this novel. As the Antichrist who was misplaced at birth, he shows that free will is what makes us all human, the good parts and the bad bits.

pickA friend lent this to me ages ago and I finally just read it- what an absolute joy! This was like everything I loved about the show Lucifer: witty banter, satire, lovable characters, gray area between good and evil, Biblical commentary, surprisingly heartwarming.. and I love that it was a collaboration btwn these two incredible authors!

pickI watched the show & HAD to listen to Michael Sheen and David Tennant read their roles in the audiobook. It was ALMOST as good as the show. It has “been written:” the time for Armageddon is here, but neither the angel nor the demon are quite ready for earth to be gone. So they do all in their power to keep it from happening. Their interaction & the story is hilarious. Amazingly complex & entertaining! #teamslaughter #scarathlon #littenlisten etc

pick5⭐ I've read this book several times (and misplaced many copies, like the forward discusses 😆), and I didn't think it was possible to love it more. I was wrong. The full cast audio version of this is amazing. I found myself laughing without caring who heard and noticing more nuances in the dialogue than ever before. I highly recommend this version!

I donned my bright orange blanket-hoodie and sat on the balcony this morning. It was 2°C outside, but the sun was shining. I read some recipe magazines and stayed until the tea was gone and my feet felt frozen.
