I‘ve read all of these books and I really have no idea what‘s going on but I really enjoy the audiobooks. They‘re super fun. This was a #LitsyAwards2021 winner for YA fantasy/sci-fi

3rd book in this trilogy. For me, this last book was disappointed. There were parts that were not necessary or poorly integrated to the whole story. The end was not necessarily the one I was expecting. Many parts that we saw in the two previous books were not resolved in this one. But I still love Baz and I enjoyed Penny and Shepard interaction. 2.5/3⭐️I will keep my trilogy because there were romantic parts I loved. 😍☺️
I absolutely adore Simon and Baz and this whole world ❤️ Rainbow‘s books are always such a comfort read💜💜 I hope some day we get more stories set in this world 🙂

Is #AudioLeatherworking a thing, because that's what I'm up to today. #Studio42Books is waiting to hear if we've gotten into our spring shows, but when we have time between orders we're trying to build up our show stock. Today I'm cutting blanks that will be turned into the pocket and spine pieces for sketch/composition book covers.
I'm listening to the final Simon Snow book and it's already breaking my heart. I don't think I'm ready for this. 😥
#Swoonathon @MidnightBookGirl @kimmypete1 Thank you for the wonderful package @ShelleyBooksie - the books and bookmarks were perfect and the treats may or may not be half gone from this afternoon 😄
Rainbow Rowell makes her second apperance on this years list with the best YA Fantasy/Sci-Fi #LitsyAwards2021
#TwoForTuesday thanks for the tag @Andrew65
1: tagged above. Longest for last year.
2: sometimes I do but if a story is engaging enough I will read it. My favourite book is the Stand which is a chunkster
I tag anyone who wants to play.

Catching up my December reviews (so that I can make my best of 2021 lists)… I‘m so behind!
I started the month with this last book of the Simon Snow series. I hadn‘t realized until I started it how much I needed a light, fluffy romp with favorite characters. I am a huge fan of Rowell‘s writing, I adore this cast of personalities, and I appreciate the inclusiveness, humor, adventurous magic, and romance of the series. GREAT audiobook! ❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got through a fair chunk of ANY WAY THE WIND BLOWS while I finished the ornament for my aunt! I toned down the edging compared to the instructions (it was supposed to have multiple layers of ruffles; ick), but it still came out a BIT gaudy. Hopefully she likes it anyways. #audiostitching
Really enjoyable. I think this is the last in the series and it felt like a good ending
There were a few occasions that threw me out of the book because it didn't feel right for the setting. Just a few things that didn't read quite right for being in the UK
There is snow on the ground, I have no work as everyone cancelled because of the snow and I forgot my book so I'm starting a new one
Also, fleece lined jeans are amazing 🤩
Sometimes you need a blast of light & sparkly joy in your reading - Rainbow Rowell‘s Simon Snow trilogy has been that for me. It started in Fangirl as the Harry Potter/Twilight fan fiction the protagonist was supposedly writing, fans of the book asked to read the “fictional fan fiction” and it took on a life of its own! Completely indulgent YA fantasy with adventure, romance & all the feelings. Loved being in the heads of so many characters.
Oh man. What a satisfying conclusion. I loved this so much - it didn‘t go in the direction I expected, which was so wonderful. I finished and immediately started it over again 😆 as always with a series, I recommend going back and rereading the previous books for maximum enjoyment! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Aww the third book in the series and definitely better than the second but the first is still my favourite. I must say I love Baz and Simon so much, I will read this just for them, they're adorable. You want them to be endgame. The plot was interesting and I liked the dynamic between Penny and Shepherd. The ending was really good though I had figured out who Lucy was earlier in the series. #OutstandingOctober 5*
Loved the third and final book in this trilogy too! In this book, Simon and Baz finally act like they are in a relationship and begin working on their issues. Penelope is awesome. I get the feeling Rowell didn‘t really know what to do with Agatha, who seems to spend most of the trilogy away from the other characters, but her story had a nice conclusion too.
What a great way to end the trilogy. I felt like we get a lot of closure as readers and we still get one more adventure. I am sad to see Simon and Baz's story end, but now that all three books are out, I feel a reread in my future.

-Baz ?
I will always recommend this series!!
Tagged book is current read, but the others are next up!
I have never been so sad for a book to come to an end. I love Simon and Baz so much and it took me 3 days to move on to another book 😭. Absolutely loved this WHOLE series!
I might have substituted more action and less melodrama between Simon & Baz, but still, a satisfying third read to this series. The Smith Richards storyline was spot-on fun for the tale.

I've got a three day weekend starting today! 🎉🎉🎉 Jazz has been helping me pick out which books to read this weekend! 😹 I'm planning on finishing the tagged book and the new Stephen King book, and hopefully starting the new Laurel K. Hamilton book. I've got an exciting weekend ahead of me! 💕📚💕 #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #jupiterjazz
Ice cream for breakfast is always a great idea - especially when you liberally sprinkle it with marshmallow bits! 😋 I've really been enjoying sharing my time with Simon and Baz (and Bunce!) again! I don't want this series to be over! 💕📚
I absolutely LOVE this special edition!!! It‘s so gorgeous, there‘s art inside too! 😍😍😍 here‘s a link to my IG if anyone wants to see more pics of this

I enjoyed this final installment in the Simon Snow trilogy. I was just so relieved that Simon and Baz FINALLY started to communicate their feelings to each other! So there was a lot of that. The actual plot/crisis wasn't a huge deal in comparison, but I didn't mind. I loved Penelope's storyline! She grew into her character a bunch and I love her😍
My only disappointment, I was hoping for more concrete answers on a few issues from the earlier books
#LitsySummerCamp @ImperfectCJ
1. I did a lot of short rereads this week because work was super stressful. I reread 4 graphic novels (Heartstopper 1-3 and Witch Boy) and Every Heart a Doorway. Plus I read the tagged book. I've also started 4 new ebooks but haven't finished any yet. My goal this week was to focus on physical books, which I did 😊
2. I've only ever been camping with family so no fun songs or scary stories like at a summer camp
A little too much time spent on dysfunctional relationship angst and not enough time spent on magic and fun for me. I like the characters a lot, but the plot went nowhere and the book was disappointing compared to the first one.
July was a good month for quality reading—15 books total, far fewer than June, but those 15 included some of my favorite books of the year. Any Way the Wind Blows was a most satisfying conclusion to the story of Simon & Baz. Cosby‘s writing is visceral & powerful & Razorblade Tears was excellent. The Blacktongue Thief was one of the most entertaining & funny fantasy books I‘ve read in ages & She Who Became the Sun was an excellent debut.
I enjoyed a lot of things in this one: Penny being a magical genius, Agatha having her own adventures, Lady Salisbury and her delicious cakes, Shepard being overly friendly and curious about everything. Lots of fun!
The Simon & Baz relationship at the heart of it all didn‘t quite work its magic on me. And there are so many unresolved things about their future. I‘m still deciding how I feel about it - but I am glad I went along for the ride.
This is the third book of a series, and it is THICK
Love the author's pun on a song with the titles in this series
...Are we SURE there can't be a fourth one? (It can end here. I just love Simon and Baz and Penny so much.) (And Agatha, naturally.) #yafantasy
I‘m glad I got to go straight into Any Way the Wind Blows after Wayward Son. I can sort of think of it as one longer adventure. It definitely feels like there are more things going on in the story now!
#anywaythewindblows #simonsnow #rainbowrowell
This makes me a little bit happy. #squee Wish I had time to reread #carryon and #waywardson before I get into the third one. #maybeoneday #rainbowrowell
Weekend at last! Got big plans to finish all of these things in the next 48 hours. 🙂 #currentlyreading
Finished earlier this week and forgot to post my Review. 🤦🏻♀️
I don't want to spoil Anyway the Wind Blows so I'll just say I loved seeing characters after the HEA. Also I really liked that Daphne isn't the typical Evil Stepmum. Her and Baz's scenes are some of my favorite in the book. I have one complaint. It's a Mild Spoiler so I'll put it in the comments and hide it. 🐐
.
So so so so good! I loved being back in the company of these characters and watching them learn how to love each other well. A bit longer than it probably needed to be but that just kept the magic going. I can‘t wait to read the whole series again!
#FirstLineFridays @ShyBookOwl
Savoring this last Simon Snow book, and I love the dedication! 😍
There‘s a lot I wanna say about this book, but mostly, I‘m satisfied with it. I still have one or two questions, but I‘m happy with most things that happened.
I think Rainbow Rowell is very aware of her audience, and I think this book is largely fan service. I‘m not gunna complain 😎
Sometimes when you have an annoying afternoon the best remedy is to go buy books. #currentread #jumpedtheline
Eeek!! It finally came!!! So of course I had to have a mini photo shoot of my complete set. I love these covers 😍
The worst part of preordering online is waiting on the book to come in the mail 📬 I can't wait to read it 😁
#bookmail #coverlove
Well, I finished Tess of the D‘Urbervilles for #AnyWayYouReadathon ! Whew! Thank you for hosting: @Eggbeater @kimmypete1 @MidnightBookGirl
I love these characters so much ❤️ This was a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn‘t get my copy until yesterday because I ordered from an indie bookstore for the limited edition pin. Then I stayed up all night to finish it. And Wow! AWTWB did it ALL for me! Rainbow‘s strength has always been her characters and how she writes the realities of awkward emotions. For me this book was perfection. Simon and Baz live in my heart, because love is magic! 💜
It's just so pretty!!!
Order Special Purple Edition so I had to wait for it to arrive from Canada.
💜💜💜💜💜
P.S. #Pemberlittens @sprainedbrain this is why I haven't joined in reading Jane Fairfax. I fell into the world of #simonsnow.
Rainbow has said on Insta that this book is about the characters recovering from the trauma of the first two books. Is that a legit way to handle this series? Absolutely. Does it make for a fun book? Not really. Don‘t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, and I will reread the series, but I didn‘t love it as much as I hoped I would. These are great characters, and the ultimate ending suited them, but this wasn‘t my favorite of the series. 🤷🏻♀️
