The Wrap-up: 21 Days to Learn What the Bible Teaches About the End of the Age | Kay D. Paulson
32 posts
Paulson offers a fresh, logical way of integrating the complex eschatological passages of the Bible into a cohesive whole. The passages mesh beautifully when interpreted according to the plain reading of the text, and are in sync with what other passages say on the same subject. (Biblical Studies)

Here is my MAY Wrap up!

I have had an awesome month of reading! Seriously, all of these were so freaking good and a bit of something for everyone! Poetry, verse style novels, thrillers, memoir, paranormal, contemporary, sci Fi...

Hard to choose a favorite but take note of My Lovely Wife (thriller) Loneliest Girl in the Universe (YA Contemp.) & The Test which is a sci Fi/thriller novella.

😊🐞

tracey38 I loved Dark Matter 2mo

MARCH WRAP UP! Overall, I had a great reading month. I had a lot going on--trips to the Virginia Festival of the Book and NOVA Teen Book Festival included!--so there were some pockets where I felt like I was reading the same book for a looong time, but spring break and a bout of strep gave me a chance to catch up (that's the ONLY good thing about illness!).

UnabridgedPod @Kristy_K I was a little disappointed. There were things about it that I liked, but it just didn‘t all come together for me. (If you‘re interested, I posted a review at Unabridgedpod.com/book-reviews.) 4mo

A pretty good start for 2019 although I DNF 3 books before reading my first book of 2019. So frustrating! But I'm so thrilled that I'm able to read non-fiction again! I was not able to do that for at least a year.
📚
I'm taking this last day of Jan to catch up with writing all my long overdue book reviews.
📚
DNF:
❌ Mycroft & Sherlock (KAJ & Anna Waterhouse)
❌ The Beekeeper's Apprentice (Laurie R. King)
❌ Shadow Of The Serpent (David Ashton)

tournevis About The Beekeeper's, I suggest looking at the movoe adaptation "Mr. Holmes" which is fantastic and made me ugly cry. 6mo

These are the books I read in August. This was a good reading month for me. I loved all of these, and time will show who ends up as favorites.

4 of these was read for #MakeMeReadIt, and this was a fun way of reading from my tbr. Thanks for coming up with this idea and hosting @TheReadingMermaid

The Austen novel was for the #janeaustenreadalong hosted by @sammisho These buddy reads helped me reach my goal of reading Austen's 6 novels this year

Here's my #MonthlyWrapUp for July 2018.
I didn't read nearly as many books as I usually do. Maybe I just needed a rest lol. But I'm back at it for August!
📚📚🤓📚📚

jb72 The Red Tent was a very good book. You‘re way ahead of me. I only read 14 and many of those were short stories. I hope to get one more finished today (Life of Pi - off to a slow start). 12mo
TheReadingMermaid @jb72 I was a little slow in July because I usually read about 30 to 40 books a month. I didn't read nearly half as much that month but I'm back in it for August definitely LOL 12mo

My June wrap-up. This is my best reading month so far this year, 7 books read. And that's while there's the FIFA World Cup and I've watched almost every game. That looks good for July with the continuation of the FIFA and Tour de France

Also all of these books were great. Several of these novels where new to me authors and I loved their book so much that I'll definitely read other books by the author, Nancy Mitford, Maggie Nelson & Rachel Cusk.

morevna When does a book qualify as a chunkster? Also, I love this term 😍😂 14mo
Jess7 Haha! Thanks! I‘ve seen other people use the term. I‘m not 100 percent sure — but it was thick. I think it might have been over 600 pages but I‘m not 100 percent on what qualifies - maybe just whatever you consider large? 🤗 @morevna 14mo
britt_brooke @jess7 Great month! I consider anything over 500 pages a chunkster, but I think it‘s subjective. 😄 @morevna 14mo

11 books read in February despite slumping for about a week mid-way through. (Actually it wasn‘t really a slump, it was more like a 🍺 coma. Damn Super Bowl.)
