It‘s a month late but better late than never.

A little late but finally posting my #maywrapup. I definitely got good use out of my #kindleunlimited membership! All but A Court of Thorns and Roses were on my kindle and that was a re-read. I am having a hard time with what I want to read and currently have 8 books going🤦‍♀️. June might be an interesting month....

#MayWrapUp Five books I devoured in May! Beautifully written yet also compellingly page-turner, these books remind me why I fell in love with reading. 😊👏📚

I only finished three books in May, but I really liked all of them. I'm on a bit of a sci-fi kick right now, and struggling to read anything that feels more like homework. #MonthlyWrapUp #MayWrapUp

My only 5⭐️ in May was Nine Nasty Words, but it was a pretty decent month! I read some stuff I don‘t normally gravitate toward. Some I loved, some not so much.

5feet.of.fury I‘ve got to get to The City We Became! Looks like some great choices! 8mo
britt_brooke @5feet.of.fury That one was out of my norm, but I liked it! So different. And the audiobook production was excellent, I‘m curious to see where the trilogy goes. 8mo
5feet.of.fury @britt_brooke I just saw your review for it was not so favorable. It sounds like a very unique concept though and I loved the Broken Earth Trilogy 8mo
britt_brooke @5feet.of.fury It was a tough one for me because I have trouble visualizing fantasy elements, but I still enjoyed it. I was left a bit confused. 🙈 But I think that was intended. 8mo

The Hole is my second 5 star read of the year. I loved it! I also finished Invisible Cities for my friend rec challenge. I had trouble rating it, but ultimately would say it‘s a light pick. A not so positive stand out was Hummingbird Salamander. I was really looking forward to that one, but I ended up panning it. ⬇️

I read 15 books in May, but I only managed to post three reviews. I haven‘t had the energy to write reviews or engage on Litsy as much as I would like to. Hopefully June is better.

The books in the top row were my favourites of the month. No five star or stand out reads though, unfortunately. #MayWrapUp #MayStats

JennyM I‘m the same - reading lots but I‘ve lost my litsy reviewing mojo. You look like you‘ve had a fab month reading though 📚👍 8mo
