I‘m late on my June recap! There were lots of chunksters on my list last month, so I did not finish as many as in previous months, and no bingo, but lots of really great reads! Tagged book was my last of the month, and a #blamelitsy pick, too. Lots to chew on with themes of colonialism and appropriation, plus a rollicking storyline. Now, on to July!

This was my most read month this year with 20 books total, mostly 4 and 5 star reads.

13 print for a total of 4,088 pages
7 audio for a total of 75 hours and 10 minutes

Pictured are my favorites, and it was hard to narrow it down to four!

Daisey Wow! Sounds like a great reading month! 4y
LoverofLit It was! @Daisey I found myself neglecting my household and letting my kids run wild but I really needed a break of laziness where reading was more important ❤ 4y

I'm accidentally finishing Night Road today but I made my collage last night and didn't wanna re-do it so it's going on my April TBR! 😁

I had a great month of mostly phenomenal reads. It wasn't hard to choose a favorite as Good Morning, Midnight blew my socks off but the runner ups behind that were numerous! #monthlyrecap #julyrecap #julyinbooks #julywrapup

February reads! Favorites were The Hazel Wood, Force of Nature, Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore and A Duke of Her Own (hello super satisfying end to a series!). It‘s very hard to pick favorites this month. #february #februaryrecap #monthlyrecap

Considering how high my anxiety was for most of the month (making it difficult to focus on reading) I think I did pretty well! 😊📚
🍂The Stone Sky - Broken Earth 3
🍂Buffy Season 8 - Volume 2
🍂I Am Malala
🍂Tower of Dawn
🍂Lets Pretend This Never Happened
🍂Yellow Star
🍂Wires And Nerves

[DELETED] 3803335244 You did do well. I suffer from PTSD & as a veteran anxiety w/panic attacks is a daily struggle for me so my heart goes out to you!! I feel your struggle my friend 💔 Sending you hugs & know that you are amazing. I hope your next months are better. 5y

GypsyKat @ForeverNerdy I didn't know you were a veteran. Thank you for your service! My hubs is a combat veteran too, and dealing with his ptsd is a part of our regular life that many people just don't understand. Thank you for your kind words. I hope that you can find some relief from your anxiety as well. ❤️❤️❤️ 5y

This was my March reading. Twelve books in all. Ten regular books, and two audiobooks. I'm well on my way to my personal goals this year! 😊📚 #ReadingStats #MonthlyRecap #MarchReads

Crinoline_Laphroaig @GypsyKat Lunar Chronicles has been on my TBR for awhile. To binge or spread out??? 6y
GypsyKat @missnavigation I binged it, but then again I don't like to spread things out. They're fun, fast reads at any rate. I think I was through them all in under three weeks. 6y

Bookishnights @missnavigation they defidently where a binge for me too left you with cliff hangers on some books but others where harder to get through 6y
Bookishnights Btw how did you manage to get 12 books in!!? I can usually only get 5 if I'm persistant enough 6y
GypsyKat @Bookishnights I generally read at least two hours a day, but that before going to sleep. Occasionally I'll steal an hour or two during the day if I can. Also, audio books are so great! I can listen to them while I get things done! But trust me, this 12 book thing is not an every month norm for me. 😉 6y
Bookishnights 😂 I might have to try your 2 hours a day idea 6y
