The history behind probably the most famous novel about being trapped on an island! It teaches a lot of survival skills (like how to make clay pots and bread), so my song choice was obvious. The music video also reinforces the island idea.

Even though it's not quite as good as Priory, A Day of Fallen Night wins the #fiction bracket for April. But the events in The Darkness has just about stayed in my mind longer.
It's a tough call between The Postscript Murders and The Darkness, but as I have put 'Bleeding Heart Yard' (#3 in the Harbinder Kaur series by Elly Griffiths) on my #alphabeticalbingo master list, I'm going with The Postscript Murders (#2 in the series)

The book looks really interesting, and I need a lot of dystopian options for a challenge prompt as I don't read a lot of it, so I may get to it this year 🤣
For those of you doing my #ukroadtrip challenge, I'm aware that some of the counties I've listed may not exist anymore. My suggestion is you search for a book in a town/city that was in that county but put it in the newer category if I have it listed. This may mean certain counties can't be completed, but as there's no time limit on this challenge it doesn't really matter!
