Love this picture of the ladies in modern dresses. I bought this as a coffee table book but it turned out to have a lot of really interesting content covering the time period and real life events alongside how these were portrayed in the show. Just loved it!

In a bid to rid my mind of murder I'm revisiting Downton. Good old reliable Downton ❤

Saw #DowntonAbbey tonight and was really pleased with happy endings all around: a bit of political intrigue, inheritance issues, romance, costumes, and lots more food! Top pic of friends goofing around at our own Downton Abbey Tea a few years back.

Went to a Downton Abbey movie screening on Thursday and enjoyed it. Movie was wonderful. Seeing it on Friday night with a friend.

Part of my birthday weekend - a trip to see Downton the movie (a bit of escapism!). Our cinema was doing a special afternoon tea Downton style before hand, so we filled up on finger sandwiches, scones with cream & jam and copious amounts of cake before settling into the movie!

If you are a Downton Abbey Fan, see the movie. It was perfect.

Downton Abbey spread at the local Barnes & Noble! Teas, books and chocolates. I think I‘ll try the Tower of London blend :)

I went with friends to a fun little Downton Abbey event at our library today. There were quizzes, snacks, and Downton videos. And of course a reading list! I only left with two books, which seemed like a good start.

Any Downton Abbey fans as excited as I am to watch this movie in September?! 🙋🏽‍♀️

Not book related, but I had an unexpected invitation from on a precious friend to take a train to NYC & view this exhibition. It was fabulous& such fun!

✔ Wealth of background info about the tv series with some historical info that inspires the show
✔ Beautiful photographs
✔ Well-structured book
✔ Great narration by Elizabeth McGovern (plays Cora Crawley in the show) - yes, I listened to the audiobook while doing chores + book for photos & historical info which were not narrated in the audiobook 😁

On the coldest day of the year we bundled up and headed into the city for the Downton Abbey exhibit! So much fun and now I need to go back and rewatch it all! Highly recommend if you were a fan of the show! #itswaytoofreakingcold #mychristmaspresent

Christmas came early to our house today! We‘re road tripping to our families tomorrow and Monday, but wanted our son to have a “Christmas morning” complete with cookies & milk for the man of the hour 🎅🏻🎄the night prior. My husband put this awesome/hilarious mug in my stocking (he swears he didn‘t see the quote from Carson...LOL 😂) along with tickets to Downton Abbey: The Exhibition next week! So awesome! #stockinggameonpoint
