Who wants jewelry when you can get books? 🎁📖🎈🎂
That's how I like to spend my Sundays 😊
I can't understand why some people think I should go outside 😎
I have read hardly any German/ Austrian Literature since school. When I once criticised it for beeing mostly too dark and terrible, my German teacher told me that there will come a right time to read certain authors/books. I feel like the time to read Horvath has come for me. He was one of my least favourite authors in school, so let's see how it goes...
When your trip to the bookstore ends in a personal crisis, because you realise (again) that there's no chance at all that you'll every be able to read all the books you want in one lifetime... 😭
I almost never, really almost never, leave the house without a book, because that's what happens when you do... 🤦♀️😴
With changing job my focus in life kind of shifted and I found myself keeping being distracted from reading. After really having settled in and finding my routine I feel it's finally time for some reading again 😊
I've been in bed with the flu for the last couple of days, only able to listen to audiobooks. Today is the first day I'm feeling a bit better, so I'm trying to change to print for a bit.
This is a novel about a strict patriachal society living on an island by it's own rules. Reading about the daughters' lives in this comunity was really disturbing and it would often have been hard to cotinue, if it hadn't been for the wonderful style of writing.
This wasn't the most original story I've ever read, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I did't like the male main character at all, or at least not in context of the relationship of the protagonists. However, I think, especially people that are into erotic romance, will have a good time reading this book.
Thank you again @LittleBug for giving me this book! I think in future I won't completely avoid the romance section anymore.
Winter has finally come and I don't like it, so I'm going to lock myself in and read all weekend ☃️
I'm ready for the new year 🙂
In 2019 I want to read books by female authors (or books about women/ the life of women) and to learn more about feminism/ feminist movements. #RemarkableWomen
Also, I am not going to buy any books for myself in 2019 🙈
I've been feeling a bit down today so my boyfriend took me book shopping 💕
Thank you soo much @LittleBug !! ❤
The things you chose are just wonderful 😍 My boyfriend got really excited about the socks and immediatly had to try them on. Not sure if I stand a chance of ever getting them back now 😄
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!! 🎄
So excited about finally starting this ?
My reading goal for 2019 is to read books by female authors (or books about women/ the life of women) and to learn more about feminism/ feminist movements.
It's not 2019 yet, but I think "Becoming" is the perfect book to start and I don't want to wait any longer...
Finally gonna watch the new Fantastic Beasts 😎
I already knew I was a Ravenclaw from when I did the Quiz on Pottermore. I'm surprised however that my Ravenclaw score is that high.
Which house are you in ?
I don't often take selfies, but here is one from my recent trip to London 🇬🇧
When I travel I often like to just walk around and explore. On my second day I found a small path between houses that led to the place were I took this photo.
I've only finished the first part "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" and enjoyed it a lot. I loved the humor!
I'm looking forward to continuing it soon, but I feel like I need to read something for work first.
I've wanted to do a Harry Potter reread for some time and decided to try the audiobook. I'm happy I made that choice as there seems to be so much to do these days and I haven't really had the energy to read a lot. Hearing this story again was just the right thing at this time.
Just signed up for my first book swap - so excited 🤓
Thank you @TheReadingMermaid , I think #BlindDateBookSwap is an amazing idea!
