I copied the idea from @monalyisha and found an old couple of posts from 2017. Usually I don‘t remember dedications, but I liked this one. It‘s relevant to the story as well. #sundayfunday

2✨ I do like the elegant way this book was set up, but not a fan of the “research” and characters. I did get through the whole book, and did start to care about their growing love for one another. Since I only gave 3 stars to the first one I‘m not going to continue the series, even though each book is different. It is just not a concept I enjoy as I once did when I added the first one years ago. #SeriesLove @TheSpineView @Andrew65
I love the dedication in this book. When I found the book destroyed in the flood, I ripped out the page because it made me smile. When I (eventually) get a library space, I will put this up somewhere.
And another historical romance 🙈 Can‘t seem to get enough! 🤦♂️
Totally enjoyed Pippa as a character - scientific, with just a touch of naïveté and vulnerability. Yet, strong and opinionated and logical. Not the biggest fan of the male lead, but overall liked the story. Letter O for #LitsyAtoZ .
Another very quick delightful read!
I really loved the first book in this series and was looking forward to this second book. The heroine, Pippa, is wonderful and brainy but the hero was into hating himself a little too much. I'm gonna finish the series because I know the 4th book is gonna be interesting!
LOL Oh Pippa!!! I‘m so embarrassed to say it, but I can relate to you so much!! Especially back when I was getting ready for my wedding day 😂 I am absolutely loving this impulse library loan!!

1. Sarah MacLean
2. Fall Out Boy
3. Diet Coke
😁😁😁 Thanks @MelAnn for sharing this one 😁😁😁
With this new-to-me series, Sarah MacLean has entered the ranks of Instabuy Author for me!
Pippa is refreshingly direct, clever, and heroic. And her long limbed “research partner”, Cross, is a remarkably honorable scoundrel with many delicious shocks in his future! A wonderful mixture of scientific curiosity and passion, their romance is bound to defy the strictures of their circumstances and set the “haute ton” abuzz with the scandal of it all!
I did! I hit 200! And with a little bit of time to spare! What an amazing reading year it‘s been! And, I never would‘ve read so much this year without you Littens! Without reading challenges like #LitsyAtoZ and #24in48 I never would‘ve gotten so much momentum! And I‘ve had a much wider reading experience thanks to all of the amazing posts from all you amazing Littens throughout the year! Thanks guys!
Review of my 200th book in 2017 to follow!
Thank you @robinb ! I am in love with these books! I'm going to start the third one before family arrives for the weekend! I loved this quote!
Getting back to #allthebooksof2017 and the best sequel. Looking ahead I can skip best conclusion to a series because I didn‘t read any of those!
For the #30daysofreadathon countdown, I couldn‘t pass my bestie genre, Historical Romance, without a picture of signed copies of three of my favorite romance writers - @sarahmaclean, Tessa Dare, and @EloisaJames ❤️❤️❤️ There‘s always at least one romance in my #readathon stack for late-night bingeing 😻 @deweysreadathon
Woo! Excited to start a new Sarah MacLean for #LitsyPartyofOne 😍#romantsy
Thanks @Ambrosnazzy
Part of yesterday's used #bookhaul
I needed a lighter read and this has been perfect! I love how awkward and straightforward Pippa is. So far this book is more foreplay than actual steamy for most romance but I'm still enjoying it! 💗💗💗
Great dedication for a fun book. What's not so fun is having the work computer updated and the email is now in a tiny font! #glasses
Microbrewery a mile from my home, with food trucks outside, means #booksandbooze ... and BBQ. #backtoreading
I would have read more of this book while standing in line at the post office, but there was a nice chatty lady behind me, so we commiserated about the long line and other indignities of life. Now that I'm home and planted on the couch, I expect to make some progress. (I'm enjoying the other books too, but they're more of the savor-slowly variety.) #currentlyreading #WEEKENDGIVEAWAY
This was great fun. I think Lady Phillipa Marbury has to be one of my favorite characters. As much as I find neatly tied endings not my cuppa', the plot was fun to read and smartly done.
I finished up my #LitsyPartyofOne with a little #romantsy
This was a fun historical, even if things wrapped up a little neatly in the rushed ending.
This is my 3rd Maclean (this month) and I think has my favorite characters so far. Pippa is such a fun heroine and I love that she's so smart and "odd." I only own one more book by Sarah Maclean and can't really spend the money right now, so I'm going to take a short break from her for now.
Enjoying a lovely morning reading on the porch before it gets too hot. 🌞📚
Can I just say how much I love this dedication? #romantsy
Easily my fav quote from this book. Cross has sexy bones. #onegoodearldeservesalover #sarahmaclean #ohpippaneverchange
"I'm strange." "You are."
lol these two ❤️??
Again I need to thank @megt for her fab recs- you are never wrong lady!
#onegoodearldeservesalover #sarahmaclean #lol
I adore this book. This was my 2nd Sarah MacLean novel- and not my last. I've actually finished this fab series and am reading her earlier series. Omg where to start Pippa- Pippa is hilarious, inquisitive, intelligent and just the best. She puts Cross through his paces, without even knowing she is. I love historical rom where strong female lead had her own pursuits&goal (horticulture for Pippa) and this book delivers. Fun, smart and just awesome!
I had never read romance before, but Book Riot talked so much about how fun and smart and feminist Sarah MacLean books were, so I decided to give them a try at a time when life was really hard, and sure enough, it got me through a lot. ❤ Don't be ashamed to find joy in reading. My quest to read a single romance novel in honor of Valentine's Day has blossomed out of control, and I find my passion for the genre growing day by day. This one has a geeky, socially inept (so inept that one wonders if she falls somewhere on the autism spectrum) society lady falling in love with a chaste scoundrel. 😍😂😍
Day 14 of #riotgrams - #kissingbooks!!! 😘😘 I have to go with my homegirl Pippa, from @sarahmaclean One Good Earl Deserves a Lover. The scientific method leads to the absolute best no-touching sexytimes ever written. A fellow geek girl with glasses. 💗 Pippa 4eva. (Also 😘😘 to Sarah for writing her - got my book signed at the first @bookriot Live 🎉)
I didn't like this much the first time I read it. A case of wrong book at the wrong time, perhaps? Anyway, I gave it a second chance a year later and I really liked it. It's my favorite in this series by Sarah MacLean. It might be because in spite of her glasses and nerdy obsessions she gets the hot, wicked bad boy earl. And I wear glasses, have nerdy obsessions, and dig hot bad boys. 😬 #changedyourmindabout #feistyfeb #SecondChances #booklove17
#feistyfeb #tbr I think these are 6 good books to get to this month!! I know I'll add more. 😂
This is a reread for me. First time I read it on my kindle, this time listened to it in #audiobook the narrator is one of my favourites and did a fantastic job. Still loved the story. ❤🎧📚 #OSRBC #romansty
My original review can be found at: paragraphsandpetticoats.blogspot.ca
Got to a 2:00 seminar at 1:30, so decided to pick up where I left off on the audio of this because I have the e-book on my phone. After a particularly, er, romantic chapter, I really hope no one here was sneaking peeks over my shoulder... (This is a fun romp so far. A little predictable, but gloriously unique in its approach to the genre.)
Well I'm probably not gonna beat my record of 170 books from last year but I have done pretty good this year😁👍
I really enjoy Penelope (and love the name) but I'd have to say bespectacled nerdy smart girls are my favorite type of wallflowers 🤓💜📚#osrbc #romantsy
I stayed up way too late to finish this, but I couldn't put it down. Love the characters and Sarah MacLean does steamy scenes with class. This one was a little tamer than the first in the series, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
I'm brand new to the romance genre, and along comes a protagonist who's a science geek & doesn't understand romance at all, speaking straight to my heart. Thanks @bookriot for alerting me to this hole in my life.
Pippa and Cross are quite possibly one of my most favorite couples...as well as my most favorite characters. Their story was intriguing and addictive from beginning to end, and Sarah MacLean will lock up your reader's heart with this one, if she somehow managed to escape doing so with her other books previously. You cannot go wrong with this author! #OSRBC #romantsy
Nine Rules to Break & A Rogue By Any Other Name were my first Sarah MacLeans, such a one-two punch of awesomeness.....and I found this one just didn't sweep me away like the others. The whole, "you're better off without me, I'm no good, I'll ruin you" thing just went on and on for way too long. This hero had things in his past that certainly made it understandable...I just wanted the cute, nerdy heroine to have more sexy fun. Haha.
This is the 2nd Sarah Maclean book I have read and I really like her writing style. I plan to read more of her books.
