I didn't have the greatest reading year and honestly I only read one book in November and December with so much going on in life. I am glad with my overall stats and I read a lot of chunker and am still reading 3 chunkers.
Just realised I never posted this Andria loved her #jryulebookswap she dug through everything I had to make her slow down and didn't get pics of some of it because she had already eat it while I gathered things for the pic. The bookmarks not in the picture where her favorites she put the right in the books we are reading.
Sorry we havnt been on much but we lost are uncle at thanksgiving and have just been busy getting through the holidays.
Just took the mini me book shopping for some upcoming swaps. She's so excited to be doing a kids swap she may just be going a bit overboard thank goodness where in a discount store.
I feel a major slump coming on so I'm thinking Christmas books. I started What Light last year and it may have put me in a slump or it may have just been me. I'm going to give it a second chance tonight at a basketball game. If I don't get in at least 35pgs and like it I'm permently bailing, bringing a backup just in case.
Halloween alone is not enough my kiddo has worn her costume for weeks now. We get to pick a book character to dress up for a event and I though four sure Ramona or Pinkalicious but she told me no mom Mal of course and then went to bed in her costume again.

My kiddos so excited for this book swap. She keeps going around yelling we have so many things in COMET. Does anybody else find it hard to correct your kids when they say something wrong because it's just so darn cute.

pickThis was such a good read. I did figure out the who done it aspect early on, but there was some twist I never saw coming. Slaughters weighting is so intense I get sucked right in and visualise the story the whole way through.

Finishing up this amazing snuggling up with my coffee this morning. This is a amazing read but does anybody else fund Karin Slaughter's writing so intense you have to take small breaks. I could have finished it last night but it's like I was sucked into the sickness and needed a break.

Morning reading with my little choco monster. It's almost book and where still cuddled up reading it's going to be a great day.
Really slow reading month this time around, I feel a slump coming on. On the bright side at least I got my yearly goal in, and I did have other books started that I didn't complete this month. Does anyone else start having trouble completing a book once the holidays start creeping in? No favorites this time that where all great which is probably why I didn't finish the books that where just ok.

So book buying ban doesn't mean not taking free books right? I banned myself from buying new books or cheating out books from the library other than long standing holds until I get my tbr shelves below two overflowing bookcases. Today a coworker brings me books and I couldn't be rude and not take them πππ
So not YA more like middle grade and all these years later I still enjoy this series. I think Raven was my kindred spirt in my teenage years.
So I revived my swap and unfortunate I think it went through a lot on the way. I think this book was suppose to be in it basket case but they whereby sure so told me of it wasn't to bring it back. I'm sorry @rustoryhuf but I still love it. It's a beautiful journal and I love the cards. My little one loves the Lego keychain. #letshyggeswap

A truly heart warming and funny tale. I almost didn't read this because everyone compared it to the Grumpy Old Men movie of which I am not that big a fan of. Ove is definitely a grumpy old man but he has a heart the size of Texas you just have to chip away the stone. I highly recommend this.
