Nothing like closing out the week with another chapter and some limoncello!

It‘s a beautiful Saturday evening, and I‘m enjoying a strawberry mule thanks to inspiration from @BarbaraJean while finishing the chapters for the May portion of Lamentation. I‘m enjoying it, but I miss the collaboration and comradeship of Shardlake, Barak, and Guy.

I‘ve reached the part of this book where I just don‘t want to stop, but I also don‘t want to get too far ahead of the chapters on the schedule for March.

My first foray into the genre and loved it. Maybe it‘s a ‘right time, right place‘ situation but given that it‘s January, it‘s dark, it‘s snowy, it‘s cold, what more could you want than to crawl into a great little fantasy novel. I‘m looking forward to getting lost in the next in the series soon.

My Shakespearean insults mug also helps to keep my spirits up time of year 😍
