This is a cute book about a meditating cow 🐮 who lives life in Zen. She teaches her friends how to not stress out over things.

I'm not really into keeping physical books after I read them anymore. I don't really reread so I'd rather it find a new home to be enjoyed. Unless it was a gift, special or something I will reference back to. So my dream library would be full of very comfy spots to read with plenty of cozy blankets and pillows. Also a stash of snacks/drink. Speakers that I could listen to an audiobook.

I follow Scribd on Instagram and they shared reasons to break up with a book. The first 2 reasons on this list are usually why I DNF books but also if I don‘t like the writing style. I DNF‘d 2 books this month because I wasn‘t connecting with the characters and I didn‘t like the writing style. There was one time I DNF‘d a book because I wasn‘t in the mood for it but I‘m going to come back to that book.

For the past 2 terms I've only been reading textbooks, but apparently it was worth it. Here's to my Christmas break

Crown of Hearts by E.V. Rivers
A unique take on the classic story of Alice in Wonderland, with writing that flowed well and a massive yet confusing magic system. I enjoyed the world building but found it overwhelming at times with so much info dump slowing the pace down. I really enjoyed the plot and plot twists, but felt they all happened so suddenly. I liked the MC Lucina and her bravery. I liked the hint of romance and cliffhanger.

I loved seeing everything unravel. Whilst the drama is going on, the main story focuses on Morana and Tristian's developments, their relationship is goals!
The pacing like the first is fast, I basically binge read these first two books in the Darkverse series.
I'm so intrigued about Amara and Danta, so I'm looking forward to seeing what The Emperor is about, but I'll definitely miss Morana and Tristian's spotlight.

1. Time off. I‘m going to try to take off work the week after Christmas because it‘s been a very very hard year and I need some downtime. I‘m just not sure my clients will leave me alone. When they have emergencies, so do I.

2. Always. But I‘ve never seen a white Christmas and doubt I ever will.

Reindeer is tired of eating carrots! And he‘s very jealous of Santa getting all the treats. So he finds he too can go down the chimney and eat the sweets, until he‘s gained so much weight he gets stuck! Quite silly but cute artwork.
