If the book was a lot like the end of it.. I think I would have liked it more. This was just okay for me. It wasn‘t the worst but I also wasnt picking it up every chance I got to devour it. I am glad it stopped at two and was happy with the ending.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I don‘t know if I was wild about the love story between Cas and Anna but I did love all the characters. And I‘m always a sucker for supernatural stories.

On to the sequel!

I can‘t believe it‘s been over a year since I posted. I shouldn‘t be surprised though. I swear having a baby, I feel, has accelerated time.

I‘ve decided to really focus on working through my unread pile of books and this was the first one I picked up. It was a quick, easy, and delightful read. Something I honestly needed with how bad my reading rut has been.

Landon was born on 3.25.. at 6 lbs 7 ounces and my life will never be the same. I‘ve never felt such an overwhelming feeling of love that has utterly consumed me. Post partum has also def hit me hard- but the lack of sleep and difficulties with breast feeding hasn‘t helped that. But through all of it— I‘d do it all over again for my sweet boy. Thank you to @BethM for checking on me ❤️ I love my Litsy community

(Post 2 of 2) I started a new position this week and my goal this time around is to just focus on separating work/home life and when I‘m off work I‘m off work. I don‘t think I mentioned on here— we are currently expecting our first child in April and I know I don‘t know everything about parenting the one thing I do know is I want him to have a love for reading. So my goal of 2022 is to get back to it. Hopefully y‘all will see more of me this year.

(Post 1 of 2) I feel like I hold the Guinness book of world records for longest reading slump 🥴🥴🥴 these past two-three years have been rough with my consistency for reading. The last 5 months especially have been hard. I log off of work and just kinda stare numbly at the tv because I was so mentally exhausted from work.

Maybe I love it because it‘s helping me to pull me out of this massive reading drought that I have found myself in in the past two years but I also love the friendship aspect in this series and the relationship between Maggie and Sam. Either way I‘m here for it. Onto book4!

I DEVOURED the first in this series. I honestly love loved the relationship between Sam and Maggie abs I didn‘t even care that the killer was extremely obvious in this story haha. I‘m not sure if I ever posted on here or if it was just on my Instagram but my boyfriend and I are currently doing the #75hardchallenge. And one of the things you must complete each day with this challenge is to read 10 pages of a non fiction book a day (for 75 days). I just finished my first book, hanger management. Here is a photo of my other non fiction books I will attempt to incorporate in our challenge.

I finished my 2021 reading challenge. 😂🤣😂🤣 now there is no pressure for the rest of the year.

I won‘t lie. This book overwhelmed me. And not because I feel it was intentional on the writers behalf... I think it was more me seeing how I feel like every eating mannerism that was talked about I exhibit in some shape way or form. I‘m very much into mindfulness but I instantly felt overwhelmed thinking “shit, I feel like I need to fix everything about how I eat”. I think it‘s is a great book with great tips though.

Started my #75hardchallenge today snd this is my first book I‘m reading on it. I had started this in November but kept getting side tracked from finishing it so now I‘m staying focused.

I loved this book. It def was a slow build but The last probably 100 pages made me not want to put the book down. A great ghost/horror story. I most def recommend it
