I'm traveling at the speed of light. I wanna make a supersonic man out of you. #DontStopMeNow
I‘ve recently replaced my paperback with a thrift store find hardback. I‘m finally going to place my sentimental paperback in the Free Little Library down the street. #DontStopMeNow

Heather (of Heather's Reading Hideaway) and I recently buddy-read The Time Traveler‘s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Even though this book wasn't a huge hit for either of us, we are so excited to FINALLY have the second installment of H & E Bookish Chats!
#BookNDinner! #Thai Edition! Accompaniment this cold and snow-blanketed evening was: pan-seared sesame-crusted ahi tuna, in a yellow curry sauce, with asparagus and other veggies, and hot ginger tea. MMMMmmm 😋! Happy reads & happy eats!
[#BookReview] The Time Traveler‘s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger! This was a very unique and unconventional love story between Henry and Clare. Henry meets Clare when he‘s 28 but she meets him for the first time when she‘s 6.
I actually buddy read this book with a friend and although I had fun reading it with her, this book definitely wasn‘t for me.
The Time Traveler‘s Wife by Audrey Niffeneggeris a very slow paced and unconventional love story that unfolds over the course of the book.
There were a few things that I enjoyed about this book, but unfortunately, overall, this one was not for me.
1. Monticello, Iowa
2. Kristin Hannah, every book is so different but always well written
3. I currently have 36 books on my TBR shelf
4. My deck in nice weather, my pool in hot weather and my couch in my #grammaslibrary room under a cozy blanket right now
5. It‘s been several years since I‘ve read it but the tagged book is one of my all time favorites.
I really like your “Bookly” graphics. I was tempted to download it, too, but then I decided I don‘t need to have a subscription that shows me statistics.
Anyway, cool pictures. 😍
1. I love this book, but it broke my damn heart. I hugged it and then threw it in a fit of frustration. I still can't forgive Niffenegger for that.
2. Pack it
3. There was alcohol and a phone involved. I'm not proud. Thankfully, only two of us are aware of it.
4. Coffee, lumber and other woody smells, bleach, grapefruit
5. Black Mountains
I found this note inside my book. I love finding surprises in secondhand books.
Have you ever found anything interesting in a book you have bought?
Today‘s goal: Finish this book!
I‘ve been working on it all month but I‘m not super in love with it. I like it enough to power through, plus I‘m already halfway done. The only thing at work today is our annual DOD audit, which doesn‘t involve me, so here‘s to hoping things stay quiet and I get some pages in.
Oh man, I wanted to love this book so much, but I just found it problematic and creepy. Also time paradoxes annoy me and that‘s the whole plot of this book. #NewToYouAuthor #Booked2019 #AsSeenOnTV #DrWho #PopSugarReadingChallenge #audiobook #3of65
Book 3/60: a book about time travel
I got a GREAT #xmasxstitchexchange haul from @wanderinglynn 😀
Thank you so much! The “mark my words” bookmarks are so stinking cute, and the candle smells wonderful ☺️ I love cozy socks and I can‘t wait to read my books and do my new cross stitch!
I‘m gonna post another pic of the ornament so everyone can appreciate the detail! 😁 Thank you @vkois88 for arranging, this was a super fun swap!
Excuse me while I cry 😭 Such a beautiful tale of time & love. My husband and I are middle school/high school sweethearts & we‘re probably scarily co-dependent. So, it was easy to relate to this story 😂 Other reading time was during sons lego club at the library yesterday & bed time stories yesterday (kids knocked out on me tonight before we could) Only 6 hrs 26 mins left in #25infive for me! Happy weekend & readings littens! 🎉
This was a fun book based quiz! I must confess, I took it twice. I could have gone two ways on a couple questions. They didn‘t have the right answers for me available. The first time I got Binti, from Nnedi Okorafor‘s books, which felt like a HUGE compliment but not quite right! I‘m not nearly that adventurous outside of a book! Then I got Harry DeTamble, still a bit off but closer. How about you?
It was a little challenging pushing myself through the first 90 pages but after that I felt that the characters and storyline were established enough where I was excited to keep reading. The pace was a slow trot as the two main characters personalities revealed and the storyline bubbled along piecing their lives together.
I really loved reading this book, the concept is fantastic and I loved the romance element to it very much.

This is a story of love and time travel, which you could say is a literal #FlyOnTheWingsOfLove (I‘m stretching here!) It‘s very popular and liked by lots of people. Unfortunately, I was not one of those people 🤭 #unpopularopinion
