This is my first Sally Hepworth but it will NOT be my last! Omg this book had it all, perfect twists, love, romance, mental illness, unwavering support and peace. I have been absolutely hooked on this book from the very first sentence. Highly recommend reading if you enjoy mystery/thrillers that keep you guessing until the last possible second.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I devoured this book!! I absolutely adore Abbie and Carson. Their story has everything from pulling at your heart strings to making you laugh out loud. Absolutely recommend checking this one out if you love a sweet and slightly steamy romance.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Came for the cover, stayed for the characters.
This was a good, quick read. It touches on a few heavy subjects and pulls at your heartstrings, but the majority of it is lighthearted and your typical family drama. If the typical family was extremely wealthy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book! Sally is such a relatable character for me. To see someone live a somewhat normal life, dream of more then almost destroy it single-handedly with her skepticism hit home but in the sweetest way. The author did an excellent job of including real life issues while still giving perfect laugh out loud moments.

First ever book swap with @Mommamanzi last weekend at Spellbound Books in Sanford, FL. Absolutely loved having a fun night with my bff and we signed up for the August Meet Cutes book club!
I loved this book! It was more of a slow burn than the first in the series, but it was filled with adorably sweet moments, steamy scenes and so many highs and lows for the main characters. I absolutely adore Hannah and Fox!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was well written and covered a variety of topics regarding our society and how it views differences in gender, race, sexual orientation and even variances in family units. It was nice to read about such serious topics and have a bit of levity added to them (insert dragons), while still maintaining the severity of the situations that many people face on a daily basis. This one will definitely be a re-read!

I love this series so much!! This book was an incredible addition! It has everything from steamy scenes to laugh out loud moments while still teaching you to embrace the changes the future holds for you. Absolutely loved this one!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book. I felt like the ending came too soon but then realized it was because I truly didn‘t want it to end. I love that she left it open and would be thrilled for there to be a sequel.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was incredible. Like everyone, I had seen the headlines and harassment that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had suffered but this was a beautifully written version of their side of the story. I‘m glad that they‘ve found some sense of peace and hope they are able to continue living out their lives, raising their beautiful children and continuing their charitable work.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a good quick read. I enjoyed the underlying story of the main characters and how they found each other, but it felt a bit repetitive of phrases at times.
3.5⭐️
I love Rosie and Dominic‘s relationship! This book is equally swoon worthy and steamy. Absolutely loved the second book in this series!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished The Summer Place flying back from SLC. Back in toasty FL now ☺️
Another great light read from Jennifer Weiner! If you liked Big Summer and That Summer, you‘ll love this one! It follows the same format but details a different family, their collective and individual struggles and keeps you guessing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another amazing CLo book! I love that this one has a more adventurous theme to it. It‘s different and yet still gives you the amazing laugh out loud and swoon worthy moments you expect and love.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is not necessarily book related, but my sweet Mia (aka my reading buddy) is competing for America‘s Favorite Pet and would love your support! ❤️🐈⬛ https://americasfavpet.com/2023/mia-0877
Of course book 1 of the year had to be a Christina Lauren book 💙 I‘ve had this on my shelf since it‘s release date and finally have time to read it!
This book was so sweet and had many laugh out loud moments. Somehow it still managed to have some incredibly hot scenes. I highly recommend it!

My last read of 2022 and quite a bit short of my 30 book goal. I was doing well but work turned into utter chaos. 14/30 while keeping in mind I took care of myself the best I could isn‘t too bad. Happy new year everyone!
This book provided an interesting insight into Agatha Christie‘s life and disappearance. I haven‘t read any of her books yet, but this made me want to!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was adorable!!! The characters were well written and it was filled with laugh-out-loud and heartfelt moments. I can‘t wait to read the sequel!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘ve been pretty MIA on here. Work has been insanely busy, but I am trying to get caught up on my reading challenge for this year. I hope you‘re all having a wonderful Sunday!! 🌹
This book was full of twists and turns that kept me guessing and never quite gave away the ending. I really enjoyed the writing style and the character descriptions.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I adore Penelope and Colin together! This was another wonderful addition to the Bridgerton series. I like that this one had a bit more substance after they got together. A must read for all Bridgerton fans!
4.5⭐️
Most of this book felt a bit too Cinderella like to me but the ending absolutely melted my heart. Benedict is officially my favorite Bridgerton son. I love that he followed his heart and absolutely adored the second epilogue about Posy!
4.5⭐️
I loved this book! Kate and Anthony‘s chemistry was electric and somehow more intense than Daphne and Simon‘s, which is hard to imagine. Unlike the first, I read this before I will start season 2 of the show. I‘m excited to see how the show tells the story but I can‘t imagine that it will live up to the love I have for this book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
1. The Second Mrs. Astor - a bit out of my normal rom-com reading zone, but it was beautifully written and the story is captivating
2. Christina Lauren! I absolutely adore everything I‘ve read thus far from this writing duo!!
3. Book Lovers by Emily Henry! I enjoyed People We Meet on Vacation but it didn‘t come close to Beach Read in my heart. I can‘t wait for another author rom-com read!
@ozma.of.oz - thank you for creating this
#sundayfunday
Let me start this by saying I watched the show and I still couldn‘t put this book down. If you‘ve seen the show, you know what to expect, but if not, think Darcy and Elizabeth with a twist. Both Daphne and Simon will do things that will upset you, make you laugh and melt your heart. At the end of it all, you can‘t help but want to know more about their life together and cheer them on. I‘m so glad this one had the 2nd epilogue!
TW: rape
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another wonderful CLo book! I adore this writing duo so much! If you ever enjoy watching Fixer Upper and you like relationship drama, you‘ll love this book. Think Chip and Joanna relationship issues with another perfect love story waiting to unfold behind the scenes. Absolutely adored this book!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is a beautifully written story about love and loss. The heart wrenching story of the Titanic has always fascinated me but this book added a new depth to what I knew about it. Fiction or not, I can‘t help but feel that I have a deeper understanding of what happened and how it affected so many. If you‘re interested in the history of the Titanic, then this is a must read!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Totally not Litsy related, but today is Mia‘s gotcha day! A year ago today I brought the sweetest furbaby home from a rescue. She was surrendered by her previous owner‘s family after her owner passed away. I was looking for an orange cat but something kept bringing me back to this sweet baby‘s picture. I contacted the rescue and scheduled the soonest appointment I could get to meet her, immediately fell in love and told her she was coming home ❤️
I really enjoyed the writing style and how the author was able to shine a light on privilege in the US with a story that captured my attention at every point. This was a quick read that had its fair share of cringeworthy, heartwarming, heartbreaking and triumphant moments.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is a fantastic edition to the Well Met series! I have a new found respect for Mitch and I love that I‘ve been able to connect with each heroine in a different way.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I know it‘s not Wednesday anymore but thank you for the tag @EadieB !
1. Holidaze by Christina Lauren from @MaleficentBookDragon 😊
2. The Butler by Danielle Steel
3. The Soulmate Equation 😍
@Mommamanzi how about you?
This book was a quick read filled with magic, love and some steamy scenes. If you enjoy rom-com like reads, you‘ll definitely enjoy this one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#catsoflitsy
This book is perfection!! Christina Lauren drew me in with The Soulmate Equation and just completely solidified their position as my favorite authors. What an incredibly funny, flirty and sexy book! My first book of 2022 is going to be impossible to beat.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Last year I rekindled my passion for reading around May and set a goal of finishing 12 books. I realize that‘s nothing, especially for my fellow Littens, but I had gone from reading a book or two a year to really dedicating time for myself to read. I ended up reading 25 books in 2021 but stopped reading around mid-October. This year I set my goal at 30 books and am hopeful I‘ll exceed that. I‘m excited to set more time aside soon ❤️📚
Hands down, my #worstof21 is Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. It really needed to come with a trigger warning.
Thanks for the tag @MaleficentBookDragon
My #jolabokaflod swap was waiting for me after my trip ☺️🎄. Thank you so much for the chocolate cherries and almonds! They look so good! So excited to read this book!
Off to the post office with my #jolabokaflodSwap and Christmas cards!
Thank you @MaleficentBookDragon for organizing this!! So excited for this to be my first swap!
I just signed up for my first ever Litsy swap! So excited for the #jolabokaflodswap hosted by @MaleficentBookDragon
A new book and chocolate on Christmas Eve, what could be better?! 🍫📖
I adored this book! It‘s filled with so many wonderful moments, with everything from laugh out loud, swoon worthy and cringe worthy. Once you start reading it, you won‘t want to put it down!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I liked this book but feel like it‘s going to be hard to review. The whole time, you‘re waiting for Elle to make her choice and yet you‘re left on the last page, still not knowing for sure who she chose. In my opinion, the ending didn‘t do the story justice.
TW- rape, incest

I don‘t watch reality dating shows but I LOVED this book!! Bea was the perfect heroine. She brought a fresh, and much needed, perspective to the world of reality tv. If you love a sweet rom-com with a picturesque ending, this is the book for you!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m so proud of @Mommamanzi for opening her #LittleFreeLibrary today!!! The grand opening was perfect!!!! 🦋🦋🦋
Follow this gorgeous library on Facebook and Instagram at The.Monarch.Manor ❤️
I really enjoyed this book! It was a great, quick read with a perfect ending.

What do you do when your best friend and your husband both break your trust?
This book was good and I understand why it ended the way it did, but it felt so incomplete to me. I would have preferred a more concrete decision from the heroine but it was more true to life with the ending.
3.5⭐️
Unpopular opinion: the best part of this book was the cat.
I heard wonderful things about this book but it just didn‘t do it for me. It seemed to drag on forever. I know the dialect was to engross the reader in the location and era but it made it much more difficult to follow. There were good parts to the book but the overall story fell flat.
2.7⭐️
I loved this book! It‘s probably the first cozy mystery I‘ve read and I honestly couldn‘t put it down! I finished it in 3 sittings but only bc I had to work. I‘m excited for the sequel and to add more cozies to my TBR.
4.5 ⭐️
I really enjoyed this book! I had no clue it was a follow up to Big Summer until I was about 25% of the way in and saw a character‘s name in it. It‘s not a sequel in the sense of having the same characters and continuing their story line, but more of a different branch of the timeline with new characters. I can‘t wait for the 3rd one to come out - The Last Summer.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was an excellent continuation of the first. I love a perfect romantic ending but there was something with how this one ended that just made me love it more. It left the story open enough for the possibility of a 3rd book, while also concluding the storylines with enough room for curiosity about what will happen later. I adore this series!
