idk if you could actually say i read this book bc i mostly just read spark notes. SO confusing, like if this is faulkners easiest book i never want to read him again. ending is kinda silly tho

this book is very important in my family. it took me 9 years to get to it and even then it took me over a month to read. it wasn‘t bad, but it was a little slow moving for my taste. maybe my expectations were too high. i still enjoyed it and the nostalgic feel of it. i also like how the passage of time is so clear yet so subtle.

when i checked this out from the library i did not know there was a sequel. i will not be reading said sequel. it‘s just too young for me, which i should have guessed it would be

i hate to sound like a snob, but man this book sucks. it is written like a fan fiction, and not even a good one. you could replace ryle with zayn malik or something and it would not make a bit of difference. yes it had a good moral, but nothing else about it was even remotely good. especially the ending, the ending was god awful. save your money and download wattpad if you feel like reading this

let me be frank: i did not like this book. it took around 200 pages to get interesting, and then it was pretty good but i would still never recommend it. the narrator is one of worst characters in book history which made this book even harder to read. don‘t read it

maybe i‘m starting to like sarah dessen. i‘m really glad i read this book, i really like it and i would recommend it to anyone. the end did seem a little preachy and idealistic but i can deal with that

this might be the first ever book i read for school that i actually enjoyed. some of the things torrey said struck me as odd but i feel like this taught me a lot about being a compassionate and willing teacher.

and this book reminded me why i don‘t like sarah dessen. just immature and annoying. i also can‘t fathom how these two books are put together to make one movie since they‘re so different. ashley did remind me of someone tho….

ok i normally hate sarah dessen, but i really enjoyed this book. it was fun and silly and made me think about my own friendships, even tho a lot of it was abstinence propaganda. i read it in 1 day, definitely what i needed to get out of my reading slump

hey guys i‘m back at school so i‘m not reading as much (obviously). i would have never read this book but my roommate let me borrow her copy. it is pretty much as stupid as it looks. cringey and immature and i hate books that center around miscommunications. i mean like maybe cute but mostly just gross

Nineteen Minutes | Jodi Picoult
Mehso-so

sorry for bringing your book back to school with me dianna i‘ll bring it home. i‘m not a fan of jodi picoult and this book is the perfect reason why. is it a good book? yes. but she just tries so hard to make everything a big moral question, she tells her stories from way too many perspectives, she introduces random love stories, and she adds a twist that is ridiculous. she just comes across as exploitive to me and it makes me feel icky

KristiAhlers I agree I just finished this and wasn‘t impressed. Hard topic to read and not a fan of the way it was done. 2mo

AmandaBlaze I love Grady Hendrix! Most of his books have humor with the horror. 7mo
guidosophia @AmandaBlaze i definitely need to read more! do you have any recommendations? 7mo
AmandaBlaze @guidosophia Hendrix‘s Final Girl Support Club and his Southern Book Club‘s Guide to Slaying Vampires are good. So is almost anything by Neil Gaiman. 7mo

fun and easy read but maybe don‘t write about kids and sex judy???? also caitlin was trash

tokorowilliamwallace On my last thrifted book haul, I found an 'adult' erotic novel by Judy Blume from the late 70s. Is your similar as geared towards adults rather than kids? 7mo
guidosophia @tokorowilliamwallace yes this is an adult book! i wouldn‘t say it‘s erotic but she writes about young kids experimenting with sex which is what weirds me out 7mo

i seriously don‘t even know what to say about this book. most of it was frustrating bc obviously she shouldn‘t have to give her kidney if she doesn‘t want to and also like 90% of the characters were insufferable (like that mom???? horrid person imo) but the ending was simply ludicrous. i‘m shocked

i think one of the only books i‘ve read that never once glamorizes anorexia. never once does it talk about how thin is beautiful, instead it highlights all the negatives which is so refreshing. it even taught me a lot, like you lose your sense of taste when you have anorexia. very good

hmmmmm idk how to really feel about this. it was (for the most part) a fun summer read but there were a lot of things i didn‘t like about it. like the main character sucks and every single problem in the book is created by her. and also the whole holding a grudge for 5 years thing is stupid. and also there‘s something i don‘t like about authors capitalizing off of cancer. but ok i guess
