⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the stars really. This series will make you feel just about every emotion you can think of! Read the TW‘s and then dive in. This last book in this series made me cry! Like ugly girl cry and the romance between Mia and Ollie is the reason you read that genre. Favorite series so far this year. #romantsy #springread

For #travelthroughbooks I selected this read set in #tokyo #japan. This was for me a fun and fast read and the entire time I kind of got the “Princess Diaries”vibe. Izumi and her friends are a hoot and the lost princess trope is done well and I‘m looking forward to the sequel. #mayreading #springread

For #travelthroughbooks and #traveltheUS I picked up this book set in #Savannah #Georgia and it‘s the first time I‘ve read this author and I found this to be a quick fun read with quirky characters and a lot of heart. I will definitely be looking at her backlist. Perfect beach/summertime read #mayreadinglist #springread

For #travelthroughbooks I selected a book set in #Denmark. While the author set a perfect tone with bringing Copenhagen to life the actual story was just an average read. A pleasant read but not one that sticks with you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read. #mayreading #springread

Well if you like your YA vampire novels to be a tad predictable then you will probably like this one. I wasn‘t a fan of Ranie for a serious portion of the book but eventually she mellowed and became likable. Hence the pick. This is book one in a series. Little romance. Little suspense, a lot of drama. But isn‘t that why we read guilty pleasure books?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#mayreadinglist #springread

It‘s official! I have a new favorite author! And that ending!!! Yes, it‘s a cliffhanger but to get to that cliffhanger is the ultimate in an emotional rollercoaster ride! This is a dark story and it‘s messy at times. But so worth the read. #runyx #romantsy #favoriteauthor #springread

Ugh I‘m so conflicted about the rating for this book. I‘m going to give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because there was just something that kept me from fully connecting. Perhaps it was Holly the granddaughter of Wendy. She was rather difficult to like. It was though a unique take on the Peter Pan story. #peterpanretelling #mayread #springread

Aims42 This was my BOTM pick this month, but I only picked it because I was more interested in the add-ons 😆 I kinda bought it with zero exceptions lol 2y
KristiAhlers @Aims42 smart 🤣. I think I came with overly high expectations. To be fair the blurb sounded intriguing. But Holly was just too…I don‘t know what to call her. 🙄. I liked that Peter was dark though. So some “like” points. Let‘s just say I‘m not keeping my copy and I‘ll donate it or pass it on. 2y
Aims42 @KristiAhlers That‘s a perfect summary 👍 I totally know the ‘borrow don‘t buy‘ scenario 😆 2y
KristiAhlers @Aims42 the struggle can be real! 😝 2y

This book was recommended to me by a fellow reader and I have to tell you I‘m salty that I didn‘t pick it up sooner! This is such an amazing story. All the feels. I truly enjoyed this one and now I‘m left with a book hangover. I oddly love that! #bookrecommendation #springread #mayreadlinglist

As part of my #balletreads challenge I picked this one. Very in-depth analysis of the history of ballet. Things addressed varied from the history of Danish and Italian as well as Russian and British and America ballet companies to introductions of some of the most influential dancers. Well worth the read if you‘re a lover of ballet or just being introduced for the first time. #ballet #springread
