Enjoyable and easy to read story of a Southern family with magical abilities. Difficult issues, including domestic violence, are addressed, so definitely not a fluffy book, but still hopeful.
This is another of my โ50 for 50โ challenge books.

Trying this again - had the wrong shade of green! The leaves on the left side of the cover match with #lovebird ๐ #Pantone2023 @Clwojick
Intriguing and suspenseful with lovable characters and a small town setting, this story had family secrets, some romance and a bit of magic. I really enjoyed it. Not sure how it took me so long to notice this author, but I‘ve already bought another of her books and can‘t wait to dig in. #litsylove
I did it - I finally read a Sarah Addison Allen book! And now I am firmly ensconced in her fan club because this BOOK! It was wonderful! Can‘t wait to read more of her work - this just left me with a warm fuzzy feeling โฅ๏ธ My first book of 2023 was perfect!

โShe was so Southern that she cried tears that came straight from the Mississippi, and she always smelled faintly of cottonwood and peaches.โ

#OminousOctober #Day18 #Enchanting Everything about this novel is enchanting. It‘s one of my favourite witchy books, though the Waverley sisters wouldn‘t say they were witches! A magical apple tree, one sister who can enchant the food she cooks, the other who can cut your hair & change your life. Add in a small town with a cast of characters & you have enchantmentโจ #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter 6pts
This was a good read, I will admit I wasn‘t expecting it be so sexy (it‘s not over the top or too much, I just didn‘t anticipate it) ๐ถโ๐ซ๏ธ I‘m intrigued enough to definitely continue with โFirst Frostโ ๐

#wondrouswednesday. Thanks @Eggs for the tag & allowing me to post late
1) I love to garden but it doesn‘t always work out every year. As a kid my parents indulged me & found me spots to try growing things. As a child, my best gardens were one year gorgeous tomato plants with a bumper crop of tomatoes, and another year a garden‘s worth of marigolds
2) veggies, but I want to expand to flowers ๐
3) tagged
What about you @freeatlast1137 ?
