Carrie, didn‘t you recommend this to me? If not, oops 😂 We chatted about a bunch of books when #ALSpine started and I seem to remember this being one of them. ANYWAY! It was fantastic! If it was you, thanks 😊 @CSeydel #TBRtarot

The Irish Goodbye: A Novel | Heather Aimee O'Neill

Pickpick

Set during Thanksgiving weekend, the whole Ryan family comes together for the first time in years. The 3 sisters all have secrets and troubles they‘re dealing with, but the present is plagued by an incident that happened 13 years ago, for the sisters and their parents. The story is told from the POV of each sister. A solid family drama!

My #TBRtarot pick this month is the new novella in the world of Belladonna & Wisteria. Set during Christmas it‘s just a cute story where we can see what our couples have been up to since the ending of the last book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cujo was the last book read in October and here is my October wrap up overall. Cujo definitely unlocked a new fear in me especially with rabies cases on the rise in my county and so many who don‘t follow leash laws. I definitely could have made bingo this month but it was nice to be busy with fun things like a concert and Halloween and meeting new people. Great month! #HauntedShelf #GrimReaders #OneSnacktoRuleThemAll #Chocolotiers #TBRTarot ⬇️

MatchlessMarie This book fit the book with an animal as a main character prompt for TBRTarot. #LosersClub #BookSpinBingo (edited) 6d
BarkingMadRead This is one of his more terrifying books for sure! The ones that could really happen are always so much scarier! 6d
MatchlessMarie @BarkingMadRead It also made me think damn cell phones save lives but not for several more years 🤣 6d

Ruthiella I‘m ready this currently which has two POVs. 👍 7d
OriginalCyn620 This one is on my list for this month (it‘s set over Thanksgiving) and from the blurb, it sounded like it was multiple POVs. I have the audiobook, so I looked it up to make sure, and it is! 7d
CBee @AmyG in the wise words of Yoda, “no try. Only do.” Obviously Yoda didn‘t have any other obligations 😂😂 7d
CatLass007 I‘ll see what‘s on my TBR that fits this description. 6d
AmyG Ha….did Yoda babysit a 5 year old during the week? Not, me think! (edited) 6d
CBee @AmyG if he had, that five year old would be a Jedi by now 😂😂 6d

My #TBRtarot pick this month was sooo good. A dystopian society separated by class and color and minor imperfections. A secret rebellion, forbidden love - this had it all. It felt like the Giver but worse. 🤣Can‘t believe it‘s her first novel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

KT1432 Stacked! Not my usual genre but this sounds super interesting! 2w

Blob: A Love Story | Maggie Su

Panpan

Vi, a twenty-something who‘s been dumped and lost direction in her life, finds a sentient blob in an alley and takes it home. She then decides to mold it into the perfect man. This was weird and quirky and really boring! Vi is pretty unlikable and very uninteresting. This could have been so much more, so much hilarity could‘ve ensued, but it fell flat for me.

This was so very good. What keeps sticking in my brain is how interconnected the people of Sarajevo were before the war - different groups/cultures/religions living side by side in peace. I don‘t think I‘ll ever understand why acceptance and interconnection are so hard, or how violence and war are so easy. #TBRtarot (debut author/debut book)
