I was really hyped to read this book. I even requested that my library purchase it so I could read it and I just don‘t care anymore 😭 I don‘t care about any of the characters. I was promised a creepy witch in the woods and so far I‘ve only gotten gross childbirth descriptions and bland characters.

I thought his book was fine. I don‘t really have any complaints, but for some reason it just never fully grabbed me.

I almost loved this. There were some pacing issues but overall it was compelling and highly readable.

If you liked Practical Magic but wished it was ✨spicy✨you may like this.

Interesting concept about alien life and what it means to be human.

I read five books in September and enjoyed them all!

I was beginning to think that Riley Sager was a one hit wonder with me! I enjoyed this a lot and I‘m glad I kept reading his books even though most are duds.

I‘m not vibing with the writing style and I‘m also bored.

This is a literary fiction book mismarketed as horror. The author is definitely talented (and it‘s a debut!) but I just didn‘t connect with it. It‘s not something I would normally pick up but I found it to be highly readable.

Such a cute middle grade book that was also creepy. 💀 Definitely not for kids that scare easily.

I‘m only 26% in so far and really enjoying this!

Don‘t go into this short story collection thinking all the tales are supernatural or you will be disappointed.

Heartwarming and creepy, this book teaches important lessons about acceptance of those who are different, and also deals with survivors guilt while unraveling a decades old murder mystery.

I haven‘t read this since I was a kid. I‘m about a third of the way through and it still holds up. I love that it started out with teens wearing windbreakers at the mall. So 80‘s!

Riddled with typos that kept pulling me out of the otherwise enjoyable story.

Just received my copy of Bad Man! I‘m super pumped to read this!!!

Picked up a few books at GenCon, and got a cool pin from the Indianapolis Public Library.

Needed a good editing. The plot and characters were interesting, but there was way too much unnecessary exposition.
