Welcome to Litsy!

My sweet little friend Fern died unexpectedly yesterday. She was just about the nicest hamster ever - she never bit me and she was okay with cuddles. It's hard to like hamsters because they don't have long lives, but they're so worth it. I loved everything about her. #hamstersoflitsy

I had to say goodbye to my little buddy Richard today. Some of you met him in real life and know how wonderful he was. I got him at the end of one of the hardest years of my life, and he made every day happier for me. I loved him so so so much. #hamstersoflitsy

Today's #readathon hasn't gone as expected! I was worried last night about an infected-looking spot on Richard, and thankfully the vet could fit him in this morning. He's fine now, and I can finally get to my book. Watching a hamster get a tiny tiny exam isn't a bad way to spend the morning, though. :) #hamstersoflitsy
