A fun parody of the classic bedtime book, “Goodnight Moon.“ I appreciated the parallel of rhythm and theme, to Margaret Wise Brown's book, and I think young listeners will be amused by the monstrous hi-jinks. Although no mention is made of Halloween, this would be an excellent bedtime book for that time of year, I think.

How can one resist this cute parody of Goodnight Moon. Perfect for this time of year and my class really liked it.

Jace was so excited to read this that I couldn‘t get him to sit still and hold the book up long enough to take a non-blurry picture. He gives it two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻

My husband surprised me by decorating our son‘s room himself yesterday! He added a lot more to the walls than I would‘ve but it was so loving I can‘t complain! He also filled his bookcase for me. My husband does not enjoy reading and doesn‘t get my obsession so that was even nicer:)

“Goodnight bones and the black lagoon”

This book has incredible illustrations that are perfect for Halloween time.

I also read this book to the kids at the CDC. The illustrations in this book are very good and interesting. The kids enjoyed the pictures and the spookiness of this story.

So I found out that when it comes to readathons, I am no long distance runner, at least during summer break 🙃 Apparently I can manage 24 hours in two days but not five 😆 I didn‘t make it to 25, but I was able to knock off 5 books off my TBR, make a dent in my monster Washington biography and still read 4 more to the boy. Time well spent. #25inFive
