Loaded with so much science especially physics. Heavy with scientific problem-solving scenarios; So much of it went over my head but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the story. The characters were so relatable. Some humor remarks. Loved the developed friendship between Dr. Grace and Rocky. The plot was richly imagined and carefully constructed. I can't stop thinking about this.

“I penetrated the outer cell membrane with a nanosyringe.“
“You poked it with a stick?“
“No!“ I said. “Well. Yes. But it was a scientific poke with a very scientific stick.”

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”
This novel is a treasure in American Literature.

That last book was mind-blowing !! It was chaos from the very beginning until the end. It was a total rollercoaster of suspense, action, and angst. The tension between the characters was so intense it evoked palpable angst. I found myself holding my breath and my chest tightening during most parts in book 3. The ending was perfect but there‘s a small part of me that wishes there were more. I really loved this.

This sequel was a real page-turner, unlike the first installment; I couldn't put it down. Lots of techie elements that a geeky person would love. I personally loved this one compared to book one. The plot was engaging and the story and characters had significant growth and transformation. This had angst and emotions and Truman Show vibes. Beware it ends on a cliffhanger.

Filled with adventure surrounding survival. The mysteries messed up my mind of reality; I just kept reminding myself, there will be a logical explanation to all of this, and just as I figured the sci-fi element explained it at the end. The explanation wasn't a mind-blowing highlight. However, it feels like there are hidden layers to this which sparked my curiosity. This gave off the Maze Runner vibes.

If you like Christopher Nolan‘s movies you will love this book. The plot consists of a scientist/professor who is kidnapped and sent to an alternate universe and does everything he can to get back to his own universe. It‘s mind-bending and action-packed. Love the thriller, suspense, sci-fi, and mind-boggling vibes in it.

After finishing the very intense Dark Verse series by Runyx, I figured I needed to read something uplifting and this fit the bill. I loved this!! I must've laughed in almost all the chapters. The dialogue was amusing and relatable with good banter. The characters are loveable and witty. By the end of the book, my face hurt from laughing, and my heart was warm and fuzzy. I highly recommend this to anyone!

The story was so absorbing, engaging, and gripping that I couldn't put it down. Book 1 and 2 was focused on Tristan and Morana, book 3 on Dante and Amara, book 4 on Alpha and Zephyr, and book 5 on Shadow Man and Lyla. Despite that these books focused on each couple respectively, the author also included the other characters so you are seeing what is happening to different characters synchronously. (Continue reading below).

I don't want to spoil anything away but I think this quote suits this book perfectly, “For she has been the ruin of many; many men have been her victims.“ (NLV, Prov 7:26).

“Indigent orphans, abandoned by their parents, victimized, and horrendously abused and experimented to enrich others, their innocence exploited, and their humanity disregarded.“ It was heartbreaking but the end gave a possibility of healing and new beginning. It has a Frankenstein - Hitman (2007 movie) vibe to it. I've read Sheridan's other books and her writing has always been eloquent and powerful.

Dark, creepy, monster romance. MMC completely infatuated with the FMC. FMC kept resisting but it's obvious that she is also. 😑Their entire relationship was based on sexual needs. The whole time, I was mostly irritated and bored. To top it off, there were no character and story developments.

I‘m sad to finish this 7-book post-apocalyptic series but I loved seeing the transformation of each character, the formed relationships, their resilience, and the found-family they discovered amongst each other.

It's not a hard core thriller that I usually read, but it has just the right amount of mystery in it to keep you interested. 90% of the story was predictable but there was a huge plot twist in the end which I think made up for the 90% predictable part. Very good. I give this 5⭐s. Highly recommend 👌

This story gave me butterflies. My heart fluttered as I read. Many would classify this as romance, but I think it‘s more than that. The character‘s connection wasn‘t about intimacy and passion. They had a deep, selfless devotion to each other. The relationship between the main characters was soul-stirring; I was so invested in their journey. It was beautifully written. This series lived up to the hype. I will forever cherish this. 5⭐s

I was sad to complete this series. It had a little bit of everything as I listed up on the image. The plot was richly complex and contained layers of subplots within the story‘s events and character‘s actions. As the multilayered of mysteries began to unravel, I had to start taking notes and use page markers to keep up with the complexities of the plot. Overall, I give this series 4.5 stars for being thought-provoking and compelling.

A university professor murdering predatory men?! Very intriguing but blurs the line of moral revenge killing. Nevertheless, I found myself rooting for the women as I was reading this. Great plot twists but the ending was somewhat predictable and unrealistic. 4⭐s

This was a perfect gothic story for the October season. It weaves together elements of Jack the Ripper, Mary Reilly (movie), Jane Eyre, and Frankenstein. It was such a good story; I flew through the whole book in one day. I wished it was longer.

Beauty and the Beast with Howl's Moving Castle vibes. It was a compelling and enjoyable read. I devoured it in one day.

Such a fun paranormal romcom with a sunshiny protective vampire mmc and a grumpy human detective. The story was charming and filled with cuteness. The characters were undeniably loveable; I loved Zavier‘s endearing quirks and the characters‘ witty dialogue. It was a pleasure reading this. It was highly entertaining and fast paced.

A blend of the Time Traveler‘s Wife by Niffenegger, the Terminator movie (solely on the element of the timeline overlapping), and the Rose Garden by Kearsley. A story with rich depth, ambiguity, and masterfully tapestry of genres/subgenres including historical fiction, science fiction, time travel, mystery, magical realism, murder, and romance. I am flabbergasted by how the author weaved a complex web of themes and genres into one beautiful story.

A retelling of the East of the Sun and West of the Moon fairy tale. Charming, enchanting, and filled with adventures. Has a mixed vibe of Beauty and the Beast and Narnia.

I am always pleased to read Schwab stories. She is a very gifted writer. She crafts vivid imaginative worlds with complex plots and supernatural or paranormal elements that permit her readers to flee into a realm beyond reality.

Relished the complexity and the richness of both the story and the characters. I was completely immersed in the narrative, feeling every emotion alongside the characters. It was written beautifully. The conflict, tension, and dialogue were a page-turner and I was compelled to read it in one day. The nail-biting suspense of the last 50 pages had me on the edge of my seat.

The best love story I've read. Sheridan masterfully created complex characters that emotionally conveyed the characters' journey through their internal struggles and vulnerabilities. Archer and Bree are unforgettable. Their spellbinding and heart-warming love story will stay with me forever.

Sweet, tender, and soul-stirring. It moved me to read about characters who could truly see and understand each other in a deeper level. Made me root for both characters. Lots of quotes that will warm your heart and fill you with positivity. Emotionally rewarding to read.

I loved this. Some aspects of it reminded me of the 1990s movie Casper. I enjoyed the story very much. Narrated very well. The main female character irked me in the beginning but when she smartened up I was relieved. I adored her friends, the 80s era, the music, the history, and of course the love story. Beware, this ends on a cliffhanger.
