Hope everyone has had a great week! To those who celebrate, I hope Christmas was kind to you. Its been so busy, today is the first day I have felt I can relax a bit. I finished A Blade So Black this morning, and got to sit and visit with a good friend this afternoon. Now, this is the last thing I should be doing right now. There's no book money in the budget , but #CantHelpMyself at these prices. We will see what happens.

Funny story. After coming home yesterday from the Thrift store with 12 books, I read my emails to find an email from Salvation Army with a coupon for books. 10 books for $5! That is a great freaking deal. Some books they try to sell for $5.99 a piece😱 So I texted Little Miss @Jgally and we made a lunch date to go back today.
Twenty books, and only TEN DOLLARS later we have my stack! (3 books were gifts, and 2 have already been lent out)
My local Goodwill had a 50% off sale on books, do I went and grabbed myself this haul for $7.00 in total. So ecstatic that I found a couple of Oprah‘s Bookclub Picks!! Woot Woot!! 💃🕺HAPPY DANCE 💃🕺

We came across a flea market on the way home from the gym and I thought this book display was too lovely to not share! ☺️
I spent the day with my MIL searching the thrift stores in town looking for fun decorations for my best friends Classy Disney themed bridal shower, and also for my wedding. We found some great deals, but nothing that made my day quite like finding a pristine copy of my favourite childhood book, Mr Poppers Penguins. And here‘s the 17 sweaters and cardigans that I picked up for $2 a piece. It was honestly hard to walk away with only 17... but I came home and purged my closet, and I now have 5 huge bags of clothes to donate. I call yesterday a success!
