I love this series alot. I love how Raven does not care what others think about her and she feels so confident. The author Ellen Schreiber is very smooth in introducing in character's instead if just forcing them on you.

I read this series when my little sister-in-law was into vamp books. They were better than the Twilight books, so if you're looking to bond with a younger family member, these might be worth a try.
