September wasn‘t the best month for me. I didn‘t read much, partly because I didn‘t really like any of the books I read. All 2 or 3 star reads, with the exception of the tagged one - that one I looooved 💜.

ljuliel Did you see any type of theme or similarities with the Doig , Cather and Frazier ? I really like Doig‘s writing , have only read a half of a Cather book but not sure why I never finished it, as her writing was good. The Frazier sounds good. How‘d you like it , and didn‘t he write Cold Mountain ? I wasn‘t overly thrilled with that book. 4mo

Lcsmcat @ljuliel Yes, they are very similar writers. Although from different parts of the country, the land for each is very important- a character in and of itself. Also I find particularly Doig and Frazier to be introspective writers. Cather is too, but to a lesser degree perhaps. 4mo
