March #BOTM selections arrived today! So excited to read both of these. Josie Silver‘s One Day In December was one of my favorite books of 2019 so I have high hopes for her newest book and Pachinko has been high atop my to read list for a while now and I can‘t for the life of me understand why I haven‘t read it yet.

#bookmail I have so many great books that I am dying to get to, these are just a few of the ones that I am most excited for! But before I get to these I have to finish a few of the ARC‘s that I am also really excited to crack open. I think I need to quit my responsibilities for the next few weeks and just read...

Scochrane26 I‘m feeling like that today. Have to go work but unmotivated. 4y

Just a few of the books I am hoping to get through at the beginning of the year, but with a lot of new releases that I am super excited for coming out in the next few weeks, we‘ll see how many of these I actually get to. Next up for sure is The Sun Down Motel. Are there any others that I should prioritize?

#BOTM book of the year voting time! There were so many books that I loved on the list to choose from and still more that I am excited to read but at the end of the day TJR is my favorite author and Daisy Jones did not disappoint at all!

What book did you all vote for? #botmbookoftheyear #bookoftheyear

shellleigh33 I won this book on a goodreads giveaway before it was released and loved it then and still do!! This author has since became one of my favorite authors. I always recommend this book or Evelyn Hugo to anyone that is asking for a new book recommendation!! 4y
TheLibrarian I voted for Daisy Jones too! 4y
Book_ish @shellleigh33 me too! I read her first book Forever Interrupted a few years ago right after it came out and when she would release a new book I was vaguely aware and would read it and I would love each book more and more until I realized I needed all of her books the day they were published! Lol 4y
Book_ish @TheLibrarian I‘m not going to lie there were so many good ones this year that they made it difficult! 4y
The_Heeler_Booklife So many good choices, but I chose Daisy Jones as well. 4y

There are over 21,000 books on this list. I counted 90 that I‘ve read before I realized that the list was never ending and probably every book that I have EVER read was on it. Still, if you are looking for some good book recommendations this isn‘t a bad place to start. It has everything from War and Peace to Twilight...

I am always terrified to being books that I have been this excited to read but even my terror can‘t sway me from cracking this bad boy open right now! My #1, absolutely 🔝 most anticipated read of pretty much every year since I finished The Night Circus, so no pressure Erin Morgenstern, no pressure. #thestarlesssea

jillrhudy My coworker told me the New York Times Book Review savaged it! I read a galley a couple of months ago and wanted it to last forever! 4y
CaitZ I totally agree with you. I was lucky enough to grab a copy from the library's "hot reads" shelf. I loved The Night Circus and I'm kinda nervous about starting it. I'll have some time after dinner to open it up. Got my fingers crossed it's just as magical. 4y
Book_ish @jillrhudy I understand that her writing style isn‘t for everyone, it took me a long time to read Night Circus because even though it sounded amazing the reviews were shaky and then I read it and it immediately became possibly my favorite book of all time. So maybe the NYT reviewer just didn‘t get it lmao! 4y
Book_ish @CaitZ did you start? I pretty much spent the entire day procrastinating and only got to page 5 lol. Today, however, I promise to do better!! 🤣 4y
CaitZ Life got in the way and I wasn't able too. But tonight for sure - as soon as I get off of here 4y

Can someone explain to me why Verity is in the romance category?? I wanted to vote for it as it was one of my favorite books of 2019 but I couldn‘t vote for it as a romance novel. That book terrified me!

Scochrane26 Miracle creek is in the mystery category, & while it is a mystery, I don‘t think it‘s classified as that at the library. 4y
JoScho I thought the same thing! 4y
