Fall is in the air. I‘m gonna try my best to read a bunch. I‘ve got about seven days to read both these books. Magic for liars is up first because 20 people are waiting for it at the library 😮😮

This book is so cute!!! Started on my ereader, but I recommend a giant iPad screen, tons of beautiful photos for the literary traveler !! It combines my favourite things - history and reading!

Couldn‘t finish this book because I was so disturbed by Maggie‘s story. Had to return it to the library and move on.

Finally picking this book up again, I‘ve had a very steady stream of library holds grace my ereader. Wanna get to at least two more books before school starts up in a few weeks. Wish me luck!

Alright, so I don‘t have any library books on the go. If I don‘t have a time restriction I‘m pretty bad at being disciplined. 🤞🤞have had this one on my TBR for a while.

sprainedbrain One of my top 5 favorite books ever. ❤️ 2mo

I bought no less than three books yesterday plus a brand spanking new planner. I got this tote at a discount because I spent a bunch of money. How could I not?? I‘m most excited for the tagged book.

Day three #riotgrams picture book. I don‘t have many picture books, I left some of the big things behind when I moved. I did keep this book about a man who digs around New York City and documents what he finds.

VioletBramble I am friendly with Scott Jordan‘s brother and sister in law. We are all Coast Guard Brats who grew up on the same island in NYC. Scott‘s story of how he finds and makes art out of these objects is so interesting 4mo
Augustdana @VioletBramble what a small world!! It‘s a great book with cool finds, love reading about all the neat items. The glass is my favourite. 4mo

Very sad to hear of the passing of Wayson Choy. He came and talked to my English class after we read his book. He stayed after and signed all of our copies. During his talk, I remember him saying something along the lines of: This life we have is so sweet, anything else after is icing on the cake.

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I love the way he signed that! 6mo

It‘s a fun idea, but I don‘t think I‘ll be able to handle this. I‘ve got authors in various places and I may be a little too anal.

Emilymdxn I tried putting my books in colour order, gave up halfway through and now they‘re in odd mini gradients with some shelves bothering with the system and some not. It‘s a bit of a mess but I quite like that absolutely no one can find anything other than me... someone will ask me for a book and I have to be like ‘I had that at uni, it‘s quite tall and brown, so it‘ll be on this shelf!‘, makes me feel like a wizard 7mo
Augustdana @Emilymdxn AMAZING!! 🤣🤣 that is a lot of power to wield. Maybe I will keep this around for a while 7mo
