Apparently, today was National Shelfie Day. My coworker who runs our library‘s Instagram account asked for staff shelfies. Here I am on my lunchbreak, sitting on the floor in front of the YA section, reading my current #NewYearWhoDis book, chompin‘ on some wasabi peas. 📸
I rarely take selfies. Rarely. I‘m so non-photogenic it‘s crazy! But, since all the cool kids are doing it, here‘s mine for #friyayintro . I just got my hair cut (first time since March!), so my head feels way lighter.
Fun facts, book edition: When I met John Green and Meg Cabot for the first time, they each thought I had met them before, that I looked familiar.

I don't post selfies, so this is as close as you are going to get. I do occasionally take one, but they aren't for public viewing. I tend to edit them in crazy ways to make it more like self expressive art. Maybe I'll share them. Someday. #friyayintro

This is one of the few selfies (or any photo for that matter) that I am not smirking in. I guess I just love my happy camper shirt that I bought at Cracker Barrel. I'm classy like that. 😆

This was take in September in CA when we stopped at the Bixby Bridge. That is my adorable 3 year old nephew who I love to bits.
1. My eye was scratched by my aunts cat when I was younger. It never took the love away.
2. I am most happy when I‘m traveling which doesn‘t happen often.
3. I have a degree in Fine Arts, but don‘t use it. Not even close to working in the field.

I usually delete almost all my selfies and am only keeping about 2% of them. This one I liked so it survived😂 I took it after I came home from my boyfriends concert (he sings in a Metal Band) I came home early and without him because I had to work the next day. I always make sure noone is around when I‘m taking selfies😂
Playing #SelfieSunday! I had to go to a wedding yesterday right after work, & so I got ready in the bathroom 10 minutes before the Library closed. But hey... mission accomplished!😅💁♀️
Today, I finished “Swing Time” by Zadie Smith for my book club at 7pm. I even ended up with a couple of hours to spare, which I filled by watching the Netflix horror-comedy “The Babysitter” with my husband. It was UTTERLY ABSURD (but fun)!
