For prompt 8 of the #hauntedshelf photo challenge I picked this gorgeous looking romance novel! I haven‘t read it but I have a copy at home because I bought it as a gift for a friend….. but now I‘m super desperate to read it and I might have to buy one for me. Why does this always happen??

4✨This was such a cute intro into Dream Harbor. I‘m not a fan of instant love, but I did love the atmosphere and character development. Jeanie needs a change of scenery when her high stress job causes her previous boss to have a heart attack, and cause her to rethink her career. At first she is a basket case, but then she meets Logan the farmer. Super cute, a bit spicy, and a series I‘m definitely going to continue. #SeriesLove #HauntedShelves
After a long week of kids with the flu, and still having to work it‘s a root beer float dinner kinda night. Plus a really good book. 🥰
I liked the characters and look forward to book two in the series. A typical HEA, cozy seasonal read. Definitely the light read I needed while waiting during my daughter‘s surgery. Also enjoyed a PSL while reading. 🎃

Soooo excited to be listening to this playlist while I do some chores. I love when books come with playlists like this one! It definitely takes the boring out of adulting. 🍂🍁🎶🎵🎃
What‘s your favorite playlist when adulting or while reading, if any?
What are you reading?

2️⃣4️⃣ Drinking a pumpkin spice latte and reading this on my kindle 🍁 🎃 As a Gilmore Girls fan I‘m sad to say that I don‘t know what all the fuss was about with this book. I didn‘t really buy the chemistry between these 2 and nothing really happened, but a light and inoffensive read all the same. I read that book 2 is better, so I gave it a go and agree it far exceeds this one.

I have finished Dark Fire #ShardlakeBR, and I‘m almost finished with Trans Like Me #SheSaid
I finished You Are Here and read The Pumpkin Spice Cafe, I even managed to squeeze in another short read Two Stories #VirginiaBloomsberries
After reading the Nancy Drew books with #NancyDrewBR, I have a feeling that would not be the title. Not spoilery enough 🤣
This autumnal book has some classic tropes: grumpy vs. sunshine, small town, and a HEA with plenty of spice. The main characters are adorable, the setting is cozy, and the townspeople are a lot of fun. If you love pumpkin spice lattes, fall vibes, and hot book boyfriends, you cannot go wrong by picking this book up. It is the first in a series, and I look forward to starting the next one, The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, featuring Hazel and Noah.

Currently in Dream Harbor, a small town in New England, about an hour from Boston (not sure exactly which direction).
But I might go back to Nantucket later, and start another #BuddyRead with @thegirlwiththelibrarybag. (The Hanged Man)
Or go to a fantasy country similar to Regency England. (Sword Crossed - ARC)

I‘ve just started You Are Here
Next up is The Pumpkin Spice Cafe
Im excited for Fall/Halloween and all the cozy reads! This one came today and i ordered the second book which should be coming tomorrow.
Book 77/100 of the year.
I absolutely loved this book. I couldn‘t put it down. It‘s a real page turner. If you love cafes and small towns and Gilmore Girls then you will love this book. I would recommend reading it. It is such a wonderful story. The book is also a part of a series. I plan on buying books two and three soon.
**my brother got me a kindle so I‘ve been blowing through some books without reviewing, apologies up top for the inundation of reviews by me and terrible pics**
Just so disappointed- wanted a cozy, fall read and this wasn‘t it. Cozy and fall…. Sure. Entertaining and engaging…. Not even a little bit. Incredibly boring 2⭐️
This story was okay but cute. I liked the fall atmosphere, the small town
people, their gossips and drama. The romance part was “so-so”, those “spicy” scenes were sometimes boring🙄maybe because they sounded too cheesy😏
Jeannie inherited this cafe from her Aunt Dot and with this change in her life she will start a new, fresh beginning. But she started to hear some strange noises at the cafe and Logan, a local farmer who supplies products⬇️
Cute, cozy and hit all of the fall vibes! I can‘t wait to spend more time in Dream Harbor!
I was drawn to this book by the Gilmore Girls references in other reviews. I thought I was going to get a light fluffy autumnal read set in a small town not too dissimilar to Stars Hollow. What I got was Mills and Boon crossed with 50 shades! Not quite the vibe I was going for. It was ok but not the best!
Jeanie is left a small town cafe, she takes a chance for a new start, leaving her stressful financial job behind. The cafe is the gossip hub for the town, Jeanie‘s happy go luck arrival disrupts local moody farmer, Logan‘s, daily routine. The town is full of quirky characters and it gave definite Gilmour Girls vibes. A quick and easy read which was totally predictable. A cosy romantic mystery that is perfect for autumn reading.
I knew going into the book that it was not the next great American novel. It‘s fluff. That‘s fine I like fluff on occasion. This was good fluff, with a little mystery and a little humor… and a little spice bear the end. It was a good light hearted read. I will try to read the next in the series.
This really ticked the “fall” boxes for me! I needed a little break from horror and thrillers. This is a romance between a brand new small town cafe owner—a real fish-out-of-water from the big city—and a sexy farmer with abandonment issues. It‘s a small town romance with a lite mystery set during the fall. So cute! Although there are a couple of love scenes that felt more spicy than the rest of this cute, cozy story. Still, I loved it!🍂🎃☕️
Cute and cosy 🧡🍂🎃🧡 but the spelling and punctuation errors were wick and the overuse of certain phrases set my teeth on edge 😒🙄
I loved the setting, and I liked the characters. But I think the book went on a bit too long. But I did still enjoy it.
For fans of Gilmore Girls in search of some pumpkin fluff with a bit of pumpkin spice on the side! This is a nice cozy romance that really amps up all the fall feels. It‘s the start of a new series, so I look forward to the next one (but okay - I know the author is a huge GG fan, but if her name isn‘t *actually* Laurie Gilmore, did she have to choose such an obvious pen name??).
The benefit of being sick for the last 4 days? A bit of book reading! This was a delight-small town romance, a little suspense, all the fall feels, sexy farmer, and a little spice. Great kick off for October! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
#BookspinBingo card complete for October! Feel like it will be a great reading month! @TheAromaofBooks
