It was corny. The writing wasn't the best. But it was a fun little story.

Another “just fine“ read. Small-town autumn-vibes insta-love, “just talk to each other“ romance. I'm so confused by all the people who complained that this was way too spicy - there's maybe two two brief vanilla sex scenes?

Anyway. #Wreath #ISpyBingo #ISpy @TheAromaOfBooks

This was such a cute fall romance!

So many people have read this book, so when I saw it TJ Maxx (for a great price) I knew it was time to give it a shot. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This book was loaded with fall vibes! It gave me all the autumn feels while reading it.

The romance was super sweet but basic.

I really liked reading this book. I have been seeing it everywhere. Loved the characters. I will most likely continue the series. It has some spice in it. I rated the book a 3 out of 5 stars.

I always think I want to try a pumpkin spice latte in the fall, but I never end up enjoying it as much as I had hoped. This book is kind of like that! Sometimes you‘re in the mood for something seasonal and cozy, even if it doesn‘t end up being your favorite.

Predictable, but cozy and cute. Just what I needed. I can‘t wait to read the others. Definitely Gilmore Girl vibes (LOVE) Lorelei and Luke for sure; I picture Logan in his flannel with a backwards hat. Another book cleared from the TBR. #HauntedShelf #RestlessSpirits

My hand-written #HauntedShelf notes because I always forget there is a tracker 🤣 also, these events always make me feel like I‘m crushing it and then my point count seems so weak haha I did more word searches, but I can‘t find where I put them or remember if I finished, so I‘ll have to count them for next time. 5 books off of the TBR! #RestlessSpirits

I have been trying to branch out lately and read things outside of my comfort zone. I absolutely loved it. Is this a hard-hitting amazing book that is going to knock you off your feet? No. But it did have all of the fall vibes and got me right into the fall mood. This book felt like a Hallmark movie that you read instead of watch. It is a small town cozy read and had me feeling all of the vibes. Perfect book to get into the fall season! 4.5/5

I‘ve been seeing a lot of praise for the Dream Harbor series over the past year, and I decided to finally dive in and see what all the fuss was about. I enjoy cozy mysteries, but I‘ve never read a cozy romance mystery. I found this one to be okay, but not exceptional. I enjoyed the setting of the small town, the autumnal atmosphere, and the characters.

Randomly picked this up on hoopla. Jeanie‘s aunt gifts her a coffee shop. Jeanie moves from Boston to a small town to run it after she found her boss dead on his desk. She figures out how to make friends, run a coffee shop and most likely fall in love. Grumpy sunshine romance.

I enjoyed it. Simple, cute, love at first sight. Enjoyed the flannel, bearded, farmer leading man. Love that she named the white stray “ghost” cat Casper! Norman‘s motives of ruining things secretly at the cafe so he would sell it to her even though Aunt Dot didn‘t want him to have it didn‘t make a lot of sense. Jeanie did admit it was anticlimactic. Definitely fun fall vibes. Many parts made me laugh out loud. Fun friendships and dorky moments.

I read the Christmas one previously, so I had some idea of how I would find this.

It is hallmarky, trope packed fun.
Obviously it depends what you are looking for in a read, but sometimes you need a light fluffy palette cleanser, where you know despite at least one misunderstanding, there will be a happy ending. This delivers that! Plus with all these heatwaves, I can‘t wait for cosy autumn times 🤣

This was such a cute story. The fluff that palate cleansers are made of. A spicy Hallmark-esque story. New girl moves from the city to a small town to run her aunt's cafe and meets sexy farmer, romance ensues.

Bette Perfect review. I read it to escape the news. Lite, easy. 👍😊 8mo

Wow! That was spicy! I thought it was going to be a cute little romance! Of course, to me, who doesn't read very many romances, and if I do, it's usually an Amish one. Anything with sex in it is spicy to me😂 It was good, but the spicy stuff didn't add anything to it for me. I'm not sure if I will continue the series.

AlaSkaat My SiL told me that chapter 26 is wild. I never thought it would be that! 😅 I loved the atmosphere of the town. Maybe the cover influenced me too. But definitely agree the spicy bits didn‘t add anything to it. I hate that in movies also. Have you read or listened to it? I think me listening to it made it better 11mo

There was a lot of hype around this book so I checked it out. It was a cute romance set in a small town. I didn‘t think it was anything super special but it kept me engaged enough to read it in a day or so. It was definitely spicier than I thought it was going to be. I might check out more in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got the second book in this series for Chriztmas, so of course I had to get the first one before I could read the second. I'd been avoiding it because I am not a fan of pumpkin spice anything. But this was cute. Non-consequential, but cute. Nice easy read to start the year. #03-2025

She was figuring out her style for the series in this first one but it worked really well. A little trope-y but pas de trop.

Side note: my friend made me four of these mugs with different designs on them. They‘re all the perfect size! One of them can hold half a pot of tea and that‘s ✨perfect✨

This was a cute enough romance. I feel like I didn‘t get to know the characters well enough, especially the FMC Jeanie, to really but into their supposed back stories and root for them, though. I did like the town as the third main character, which was clever, and the supporting cast was strong and engaging. Good enough that I‘ll read the next one, anyway.

GEEZ! At LAST!!
After 199 pages we finally get a little bit of action. I hate when slowburns take SO long. C‘mon! It was a good scene. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Clean & sweet. Not too crazy or overboard. Just nice. I would rate the smut in this book so far as a 🌶️🌶️.

Does it gets better than this? Or was that bit the best part?

This was so a cover buy. It screams autumn 🍂

I had no idea that this was the first in the Dream Harbor series. Jeanie has moved from the city to get a new start, and has taken over her aunt‘s cafe. Weird things start to happen and Logan volunteers to help her find out what it is.

The author biography compares Dream Harbor to Stars Hollow, and I see that. Those Stars Hollow town meetings are legendary and I‘m sure these will be too.
