I very much enjoyed this magical novel about found family and belonging. Such a sweet story to read anytime of year, but would be particularly fun in the fall. 4/5⭐️

I really enjoyed my July #ThematicCozies pick. A fun and easy series, this one took place during the annual pirate festival. I liked it enough that I‘m currently reading the next book in the series.

July BOTM picks are live!
What are we thinking?!
I saw the picks on instagram yesterday and knew it was going to be a skip for me!
I really enjoyed this book but didn't realize until the end that we wouldn't get a wrap up some key points and that there would be a sequel... that doesn't seem to be out yet.
But I did enjoy this one.... it felt kinda like cozy fantasy but with distinctly more plot than they normally have. Will definitely pick up the sequel and I dearly hope Sybilla shows up again.
a beautiful story filled with amazing scenery, a Grumpy gardener, an Ex-librarian who never stops talking, and their journey to overcome their traumas and save an amazing greenhouse, as well as a greenhouse full of talking plants! beautifully written and narrated, this was even better than the first in my personal opinion. i loved everything about it! the narrator was amazing too! a fantastic cozy fantasy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3.75 stars. A magical bedtime story sprinkled with humor, comfort, and golden dust. I‘ll admit this book could have been edited down, but I also can‘t deny it was a cozy, dreamy, hug of a book that I looked forward to disappearing back into each night.
