My #Chatterday is the usual errands & spending some time at the coffeeshop to read more of this #ThematicCozies February #Romance pick. Maybe a little magazine reading in there too. Just decompressing from another busy workweek.

Hope your Saturday/weekend is going well. 🤗

I started this on audio- and could not get into it at all, but when i switched to reading I enjoyed it much better. The setting is Upstate NY and a year round Christmas Town- I thought that was funny because in College it felt like it snowed October until May in Utica NY. I liked the characters, was a little survey the killer and overall enjoyed the mystery.

TiredLibrarian Did you go to Utica College? I did! 💙🧡 1d
Chrissyreadit @TiredLibrarian I did! I graduated in 1993. When were you there? 1d
TiredLibrarian @Chrissyreadit Graduated twice! Psychology in 1986 and English/education in 1992. Pretty close! 1d

Chrissyreadit @TiredLibrarian crazy! I graduated with Child Life Psychology. we probably had some of the same teachers! Do you live in/near Utica? I drove through it a couple years ago and barely recognized it! 1d
TiredLibrarian @Chrissyreadit I'm in Rome NY. I remember Dr. Moltman, Della Ferguson, Dr. Brown, Dr. Zellner, Polly Ginsburg from the psych dept. I'm sure I had others I don't remember anymore. I loved it there. 💙🧡 24h
Chrissyreadit @TiredLibrarian YES! Same I loved and had Mel Moltman, Della Fergeson, Cevita Brown and Polly Ginsburg - and I don‘t know if you knew or remember Dr. Vespa but another favorite. I think i had an amazing education there. 22h
Chrissyreadit @TiredLibrarian I used to go to Griffiss to visit a good friend stationed there. 22h

Very early morning start- been home due to a bout of bronchitis. In between rest & sleep, I am reading, reading. What do others do when sick at home if not a reader? School is closed this coming Monday & Tuesday for Presidents‘ day, which is a healing bonus. Enjoying this non demanding cozy read. #readyourkindle

Finished my #ThematicCozies

I enjoy this series and I felt like the full cast of characters were portrayed really well in this one. I‘m looking forward to continuing this series.

A cute cozy mystery. Has everything cozies have from an amuter sleuth, no gory murder, fun cat and dog characters, a red herring set in a small town. It's set in Alexandria, Virginia's charming Old Town neighborhood. Sophia Winston is the MC. She's an entertaining guru that is in a cooking contest when a murder happens. 4⭐️

This was a cozy read. I kind of enjoyed it since it was something I don‘t normally read.

I need, NEED cinnamon rolls and raspberry jam after reading this book. Cozy and comfy, absolutely charming.
