@Andrew65 #WeekendReading prompt has me thinking about how I am going to spend my post-blizzard Saturday. On tap, my #bookspin and #doublespin and my second #NYWD22 selection. It‘s ambitious to think I might complete any of them, but I will give it a go. Art by my daughter- a huge self portrait which was an art school assignment and now watches over me while I sleep.

Cinfhen It‘s a long story @AlaMich but at 451 characters it was a business opportunity and the right time in our lives for a lifestyle change. Now in our 6th year, I think I can say it was a wise move. 4y

Cinfhen The perfect Israeli breakfast is a hazelnut latte, with 3 egg herb omelet, fresh baked sourdough bread, spreads, Mediterranean salad with feta cheese, olives & a pastry dough filled with mashed potatoes & fried mushrooms @Butterfinger my hubby likes Shakshuka ( a spicy egg frittata) instead of the omelet😋It‘s delish!!! 4y

rabbitprincess I once loaned my BF‘s mom a book I‘d read and she asked me if I had actually read it, because the spine was pristine 😂 She doesn‘t crack spines herself, but it was a large-ish paperback and not easy to read without inadvertent cracking. 4y

julesG @rabbitprincess It's definitely not easy to not crack the spine. Somehow I admire those cracked and used books other people have on their shelves, but I can't bring myself to treat my own books this way. 4y

julesG @LibrarianRyan Well, maybe one day. It's been hibernating for 7 years now. I might give it another edit. Who knows, after all this time I might even like what I've written back then. I doubt it though. 😁 4y

Gissy I share somethings with you: I have more books than I can read; I like to do scrapbook which means I keep many materials too; i think I like to think I'm a witch, a good one of course☺️; and even though I prefer hardback books, with my paperbacks I try to not break the book spin either. 4y
