This is the second book in the Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series. I read the first in 2022. I enjoyed my return to Mistletoe, Maine. In this one, Holly‘s best friend is under suspicion when the guy she was on a date with is found dead, and she is caught on video telling the jerk off for being grabby. These are fun and there are so many treats talked about that I‘m saving these for one a year, lol.

Great second cozy to this series with likable characters. I read the first last December. Probably won‘t get to the third until next year. So many good books to choose from this month! #WinterGames #SnowAngels

Finished this one that I started during the #WinterReadathon. I liked the first one better, but it was still a cute, cozy mystery.

A seasonal cost mystery set in the awesomely named town of Mistletoe. This is the second in the series and I haven‘t read the first one but that didn‘t matter. The characters and backstories were covered so I didn‘t flounder, wondering what was going on. A good read for the festive season.

The second in the series featuring Holly White and her family‘s Christmas tree farm does not disappoint! Quirky characters and a very inquisitive Holly are on the case when Holly‘s BFF is accused of murder. There‘s some light romance and a tiny bit of the supernatural in this one. And can I just say the desserts sound amazing! I love the narration of these…only one more in the series! #19822022 #2018

I think I'm going to listen to this series next. I'm not exactly sure how "a cozy, Christmas murder mystery" will work, but I'm curious to find out.

Book 2 in the Christmas Tree Farm Mysteries is another pick, mostly because of the cozy and very Christmassy setting that really gets you in the mood for the holidays. The characters still seem a bit naive at times but if you‘re just looking for something fun to read around the holidays, I‘d recommend this series. 3.75⭐️

I can't recommend this series enough if you're looking for a cozy mystery that really feels like the holidays! The 2nd book is just as a good as the first, with more Reindeer Games and maybe Santa too!

I rarely read cosy mysteries but I love this series. Delightfully cheesy in just the right way, with glorious descriptions of food and baked goods and gorgeous hot drinks drank at cosy festive activities. The town of Mistletoe, Maine, with its only Christmas-based economy I don‘t understand at all, is wonderfully comforting and fun.

I really enjoyed the second book of the Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series as well. I have to admit though reading about all the yummy desserts and drinks is making me want a really good cupcake like Caroline's. I still love the energy between Holly and Evan even if they haven't progressed much. My favorite thing about the series is the emphasis put on how important family and good friends are.

Had to bring my car in for service this morning, so I grabbed some Starbucks and I‘m listening to the tagged book while people watching on the Brooklyn streets. Typically, I‘d sit in Starbucks but covid has obviously prevented that, so it‘s quite a few hours of standing around aimlessly 😬 Thankfully it‘s not too cold out! #WinterGames #MerryReaders

I loved this book! The mystery had me guessing and I truly enjoyed the return to Mistletoe! I enjoyed the side story about Libby and the growing romance between main character Holly and Sheriff Evan. Cookie was a delight as always. I still have some unanswered questions, mainly about Scooter and the Boston case. Added another 3.5 hours for #ReadYourWayReadathon! @TheSpineView

Book 15 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner wanted to finish the sequel before the end of the month. This one is even more Hallmark Christmas movie-like. Complete with a certain character that may or may not be the real Santa Claus. Photo credit goes to my son again who had the idea of putting the indoor snowballs in the photo.

Yes, Yes and more yes to this series. Mistletoe sounds like an amazing little town , minus the murder that keeps happening there. Book 2 continues the fun of the first. Keeps Holly as sassy and spunky as book one. Her relationship with Sheriff Evan Grey is still helps drive the fun. Love this series hope more are coming. 😍❤️

Cute cozy mystery but not memorable. I read it two weeks ago and already forgot the plot. Oh wait, I remember now. Dead body in a peppermint candy fountain. Still liked the characters but thought the lack of communication between the sheriff and holly (is that her name?) was nonsensical and just thrown in for conflict. Real adults talk. For someone who doesn't really read cozy mysteries, I really like this series. I was hoping there would be a third one and thankfully just found out the author will be coming out with another one. The only thing that annoys me is the fact that Holly uses words like tummy and icky, lol. She's an adult, not 9. Other than that, the storylines remind me of when I used to read the Nancy Drew. Nancy was nosy and didn't listen just like Holly 😆.🌟🌟🌟🌟

Frost's cozy mysteries play out just like Hallmark movies and are the perfect pick-me-up listen for the holiday season. Holly White has decided to stay in Mistletoe and when her best friend Caroline gets framed for murder, things get crazy. Holly naturally can't stop snooping, no matter how much her sheriff boyfriend tells her to back off. Her inquisitiveness puts her on the killer's radar, and once again, Holly finds her life in danger.

Finished this on audio late last night. It was a nice, cozy holiday mystery with good characters. The main character, Holly, has moved back to Mistletoe where her parents own a Christmas tree farm. A charming sequel that I enjoyed as much as the first one. The character additions were excellent and I'm looking forward to another Christmas mystery... Hopefully next year! (Also. This book had Santa. Maybe.)

1. I‘m more willing to try new things (such as cozy mysteries), but I also have a stronger sense of what I might like or not...if that makes any sense.
