Now I see why this book was constantly coming up in my Litsy feed. "The Kiss Quotient" is deliciously good! Michael charmed me so much to the point where I wanted him to be my boyfriend! ? As for Stella, I have not met a heroine as sweet and true hearted as she. I just couldn't get enough of either of them! The secondary characters added to the beauty of this novel and I definitely cannot wait for Quan's story. I know it's coming. ?

This book did not live up to the hype for me. My main complaint with it is the writer's style. Her background in corporate law definitely shows in this book as it takes her about a million words to get to the point. I don't have time for that. What I enjoyed about it is the vindication each won earned at the end of the book. Still, I don't think I will read her next book.

"Lock Every Door" is truly his best one yet! This book is beyond creepy and all of the twists and turns definitely had my mind working overtime. ? I really could not believe the ending. How devious! Well, I guess the old saying is true: If something is too good to be true, then it probabky is!

Booknerd2 I‘m waiting on this one from the library. I can hardly wait. 😬 1w

I really liked this book but the lazy ending really ruined it for me. I think the author's next books should feature Detective Duncan and ADA King. The banter between them is hilarious! 🤭

This book is between a pick and a so so. I think it was just a bit too long and I was itching for it to end. Also, I think the victim from the 1976 murder mystery got a raw deal and that just didn't sit well with me. I've yet to find a book by her that captures the magic of "Summer Rental". Oh, well.

Meh...it was okay. By the time I warmed up to the protagonist, it was too late. Also, the romance element was a very distant echo in the book. I don't know; it just was not my cup of tea.

This was unputdownable! This was the Smackdown of the century between wife and mistress. I mean, Tessa, the wife snapped, and rightfully so. However, as the story progressed and as you read from both women's perspectives, I couldn't help feeling sorry for the other woman. The husband, Ethan was a creep! What he did to both women was unconscionable. My only criticism of the book was the end. If Tessa takes him back I will slap her! LOL

Usually I stay away from the fake fiance plot device in my romance novels but Ms. Halle makes it work. The kindness and tenderness Valerie and Padraig show each other is heartwarming. During their visit to his hometown of Shambles, Ireland, they each learn a lesson about inner strength, forgiveness, and love. I just love Padraig and Valerie as a couple. I could not think of two people more deserving of true love and happiness.

Reading this one because I saw Liza and Chelsea from that TV show " Younger" poring over it during a short preview of season six. I've always been a sucker for product placement. ? About the book...not grabbing me so far. I'm kind of bored. Hope it gets better.

This is no sophomore slump for the Constantine sisters. I may even say this is even better than their first book, which I adored. Kate's tormentor is so twisted that I couldn't keep my eyes from bugging out at the sheer audacity displayed by the individual. In the end, I just felt sad for the person and if you read the book you will understand why. The plot twist is appreciated and it definitely makes the book that much better. So fantastic! ❤

Although this is not one of the best psychological suspense novels I've ever read, I still enjoyed it. I found both sisters' perspectives interesting and as for twists, I must say that I did not see them coming. One thing I have to say about this story: weirdest online first date ever lol.

This one was okay. I definitely liked the first two in the series more. Here's what I enjoyed: Grant and Aubrey. 1. They're great and I'm glad they were able to get their happy ending. 2. Cat Damon. He's such an adorable furry curmudgeon that had me snickering throughout the book. What I did not like: it's too short! A solid good read but it could have been better.

OH. MY. GOD! I loved "The Maddest Obsession" by Danielle Lori. The story is about Gianna, who is a very flawed but totally lovable woman, who falls in love with her mortal enemy Christian, a dirty fed who may or may not be a sociopath. ? What makes this book work is that Gianna and Christian compliment each other so well; she's the light to his dark. I ❤ Gianna; her quirky personality leaps off the pages. As for Christian... so hot! LOL A+ ?

I've been in the romance reading game for a good twenty years, so by now, I know what works and what doesn't work in a romance novel for me. "Meet Cute" most definitely checks off all of my boxes. It has funny and likeable characters, great chemistry, and a plot that had my eyes glued to the pages. One of the best romance novels I've ever read! ❤

This is a surprisingly good $0.99 psychological thriller. Pattison did a fantastic job of building the suspense and for a while there, she had my mind working overtime to guess what was really going on. My only complaint is that I did not find the ending shocking as the book description promised. However, since the book exceeded my low expevtations, I will give it a "pick" rating.

I'm so glad I'm done with this series. While I adored the first one and liked the third one okay, "Screwed" fell flat for me. This makes me sad because ever since James' character reveal in the first book, I wanted to read his story as soon as possible. I'm just so dissapointed that it's not even funny. ?

My Lovely Wife | Samantha Downing
Pickpick

This book is kind of brilliant. The depravity of this couple is astounding. What I found most interesting about this story is how the author managed to transition the husband from villian to anti-hero. Great character development. There was a twist at the end involving the wife and the daughter that shocked me. Then again, I wonder why I was so stunned by Millicent's actions. She's a sociopath through and through. Anyway, ❤❤❤'d it!!! 😍

The Temp | Michelle Frances

If this book was about a hundred pages shorter I would have liked it better. The middle and ending dragged on and on and it was so unnecessary. I skipped a few chapters to get to the end. Also, I didn't really care when I came upon the twist. 🙄

I liked the first one better. I had a real hard time liking the heroine and that's a problem. What made it worse is that the author writes 100% from the heroine's perpective so I didn't get a break from her. I enjoyed Franco though. Too bad he wasn't matched with someone better. I even skipped a chapter or two just to be done with the book. I hope the next one in the series is better.

So far this book is the best in the series. This is Lisa Kleypas at her finest! I love West and Phoebe. Their witty banter had me snickering for hours and the love scenes between them are scorching hot! Their interaction between her children is so sweet. Loved it from start to finish. Rubbing my hands together for Tom and Cassandra's story. It's so obvious they'll be matched. Their story will be so fun! 😍

I really adored this one! Garret and Ethan are a perfect match for each other and I just melted at the scenes between them. Also, it was great to catch up with West. I cannot to get started on his book. Hmm... I wonder if my theory on Ms. Kleypas putting Cassandra Ravenel and Tom Severin together proves true. That would be a great story to end a great series! ❤❤❤

A qick read that features an asssassin that falls in love with a spy. Add in an adorable baby and you have a winner. Lots of action and lots of passion between the hero and heroine. The Hunting Party | Lucy Foley

I can see why this got a 43% rating. One major thing I did not like is the slow pacing of the book.I had already guessed who had gotten murdered well before the 30% mark. However, the author chose to do the big reveal in one of the last chapters of the book. Totally boring and frustrating. Also, all of the so called friends are terrible people. Bunch of wankers. The lot of them!

Possibly a new obsession. Saw this on Kate Meader's page. Her first novel "Feel the Heat" is being featured. It's an interactive type of game. Kind of like SIMS, I guess. Got this last night! I still have to read "Hello Stranger". I've been reluctant to do so because of the mixed reviews. Then again. Lisa Kleypas's not so great books are often better than some authors' best books. Does that make sense? lol. Anyway, looking forward to this!

I enjoyed this book but it made me incredibly sad. Naturally, Oliver's impending death hangs over the story like a pall. However, what makes me like this book is that it is well-written and I was invested in Abi as a character so much that I was willing to stick with her mission to find out what happened to her daughter. Yes, I liked this one. 🙂
