This one nearly made me snort-laugh!! 😂 Christian has grown on me & I love Raven - their witty banter back & forth is often funny, but this was so darkly humorous that I had to share it!! 😃

It's kinda neat to read this again 20 years later. Especially now that I'm 30 years old, have been to Universal Studios' Harry Potter park, and have tasted a few of those awful Every Flavor Beans. 😂 I got 1 regular fruit flavor & 1 sausage,...& stopped there.

This was a great book for what it is. It's easy to get into, and there is plenty of action. A strong female character is something I generally enjoy, except Raven can be a little annoying. She's headstrong & stubborn, which of course tends to drive her to make poor decisions, which will likely frustrate you. If you can put up with that, it's a great light read. Moving right into the next installment. :)

This one was a really fun read. It's taken 5 books for the romance to really kick in, and I'm happy with that pace. It's a nice change from the they-met-and-fell-madly-in-love-at-first-sight type of romance that's prevalent in most stories. This book also involved Native American mythology & mysteries and I loved it! I finished it today, & I'm moving right into the next installment :)

This was a cleaner version of #TrueBlood, basically. Involving fae, werewolves, vampires, and more. Basically no romance (for once!), and a strong female lead (my fav!) that other male characters respect. Overall, a pretty good read; I'm glad I found it. I went right into Hollow City from the first book & really enjoyed it. It's faster moving, I think & there's nothing but adventure and a huge twist! Going right into book 3! 🤓

This was such a good book! A #dystopia set in the #future, where #church isn't #separate from #state & abortion is #illegal. The #main #character is charged with #murder for having one & the bulk of the book is how she lives with the #punishment for the #crime in such a #world. The book is a #journey for her, and about who she became after the #abortion.

So far, this book is very intriguing. Instead of wearing the "Scarlett A" the non-violent criminals are injected w a virus that changes the skin color to whatever color represents the crime they committed. This world does not have a separation of church & state, & Roe vs. Wade was overturned, making abortion illegal. The book is heavy on religion, but not always in the best light so far. Very interesting tho

I'm in #readers #withdrawal now, after finishing this awesome book. It's still all I can think about, but it discussed the very sad & serious topic of #suicide. I loved #Cody's #character and her #strength that she only found during her #journey. #depression is very serious & should absolutely be treated like the #illness it is, with no #fear of the #stigma that's usually attached to it.

This book was SO GOOD. I could NOT put it down, literally. I switched between reading & listening & finished it in 2 days between working full time & a 30 min (1 way) commute. The characters felt so real, & their reactions felt so honest; these people nearly became real to me!
