I read the first book this summer and honestly wasn‘t sold on it. But picked this one up to finish my PopSugar challenge and I‘m so glad I did. This one was such a fun wild ride.

I…. CAN…NOT… quit thinking about this book.
The character and world building is exquisite. If you haven‘t… just do it, just dive into that SJM/ACOTAR black hole with me. 5⭐️
I have never been obsessed with a book or its characters until this one. I cannot even fully explain, this book has taken over my entire thoughts for the past days, and now that is finished, I cannot wait to read the next. Marvelous work from the author. If you did not love the first book, trust me, this one will not disappoint. It is a story full of emotion, of all kinds, fantastic characters, incredible scenes, captivating action.
Doing a reread to end my year. Fourth Wing and Iron Flame have both finally arrived so they will follow this series.
Got my blanket, coffee, and a book. Couldnt ask for a better time.
“He thinks he'll be remembered as the villain in the story."
She snorted.
"But I forgot to tell him," I said quietly, opening the door, "that the villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key."
"Oh?"
I shrugged. "He was the one who let me out."
Oh, mother and cauldron. Beyond incredible. The first was decent, this was an explosion of everything else. I see why they say Mass is a crazed writer. This story was incredible in its slow burn and ptsd showings. I just can‘t with these bat boys. I‘m ravaged. Every single emotion reading this; crying, laughing out loud, exclaiming, screaming… Second book is everything better than first. I can‘t get over this; them. Found love, family. “Good soup”
I was completely bound to this book! I loved how Feyre's trauma from the previous book had such a prominent role in the story. In most series, it seems like the characters don't really respond to huge life altering events, so this was a relief. I also very much enjoyed how my vieuw of certain characters has now changed since book 1. Just loved it!
(🎧 - audiobook)
Starting this one. Listened to the first one now reading to the second one.
I don't know guys, I feel like there's a lot of plot holes. Is she really this comfortable on Rhys's side after what happened Under the Mountain?
Make it make sense!

So much better than the first book. The writing still leaves a lot to be desired, but the story is so immersive and interesting that I didn‘t notice it as much as in ACOTAR.
Nothing like listening to sad things and crying in public! 🤦🏻♀️
This was by far so much more feels listening to it vs. just reading it. Lord was it amazing and it ripped my heart out.
Ok so i ordered this yesterday came in the mail today.. Ad soon as I am done the last few chapter of the first book on to this one. Like I don‘t even remember why I didn‘t continue the series
Big props to Maas for such a heart wrenching portrayal of PTSD. Reading it felt so real.
Yup, I get the hype now! Wow that was amazing and that ending💔❤️🩹🔥❤️🔥 I really wish this book was multi POV because I wanted more time with Cassian, Azriel, Mor and Amren. I was in tears reading Chapter 54. I can‘t wait to start the next book.
After thinking book one was good but not great, I‘m now totally in on this series. Maas writes a really compelling romance and it‘s just what I needed right now. It got me through most of my waking hours on a 15 hour flight so that‘s saying something! There was way more action vs the first book, and though the plot left me scratching my head at times (did they really think through their plans sometimes??), it was all very entertaining.
Bk1 of #FabulousFebruary #readathon was the 2nd book in the ACOTAR series. I‘ve read this a few times now & love it every time. I rarely read the 1st book anymore, Tamlin annoys me SO much, and this is the best one of the series.Feyre has defeated Amarantha, realises Tamlin is a dick & runs off with sexy wings Rhys. Jealousy, stupidity & puffed up males ensue. #BookspinBingo #SeriesLove2023 #ChunksterChallenge #Pantone2023 #ReadySetRead #ISpyBingo

This book is probably - right now - my favorite book of all the books. She writes it in the sweet spot that is perfect for me, so an objective review is not what you‘ll find here.
I love these characters, the pivot this story takes, the emotion, the drama, the twists. I read multiple sections more than once, and as soon as I finished the book, I wanted to read it again. Please everyone read it so we can all gush.
Book 2 of ACOTAR. This is masterful! I don't know if she wrote this one first or not, but this book makes A Court of Thorns and Roses look like a prequel. Feyre is once again a warrior, but of a different mind. Broken almost beyond repair, she learns to live again. The lands of Prythian are enlarged, and my character crush, Rhysand is sexier than ever. Thrilling, imaginative, full of action and spice, ACOTAR book 2 is so very good.
Truth is deadly. Truth is freedom. Truth can break and mend and bind.
My friend through many dangers.
My lover who had healed my broken and weary soul.
My mate who had waited for me against all hope, despite all odds.
When you spend so much time trapped in darkness, Lucien, you find that the darkness begins to stare back.
I would have torn apart the world to get back to you.
This series is soooo good, and the second book elevated this tale no another level!!
I'm jumping straight into the 3rd book. I can not put these books down. Just fantastic 👌
This is the 2nd book in The Court of Thorns and Roses series. I am already in love with this series 😍
A Court of Mist and Fury clearly demonstrates why this series is well loved! This book feels like the best part of everything Prythian. The twists and the adventure in this one had me staying up late to finish the next chapter when reading and I just couldn't stop with the audiobook too, even though I know what's going to happen next - or rather because I know what's coming!

I didn‘t think a sequel could trump the first book, but here she is!!
A special shoutout to my friends on here for encouraging me to keep going with the series! I loved this one waaaayyy better, and the character development is superb. We see Feyre going from a broken woman, suffering from her choices made in times of desperation, to a much stronger and confident person. That and she finally gets the love that she deserves. Will read the next book in the series now, without a doubt!
Devoured A Court of Thorns and Roses and then found that the holds list at the library for the next book, digital or physical, was weeks to months long. So of course the sensible thing to do was to just buy the whole damn set.
It‘s Feyra‘s wedding day when she runs off with Rhysand as part of their bargain, & she doesn‘t plan on coming back anytime soon. While with Rhysand, she learns more about the other courts & about her growing feelings towards him. Why does she feel a strong pull towards him?
I loved this one! So much better than the 1st one. There‘s a lot more world building. The descriptions are amazing. I also love the characters & their chemistry altogether.
This book was absolutely beautiful. This is fantastic storytelling with strong characters. I felt like I was there! However, there is a lot of fluff here. This story could have been told in fewer pages, imo. Onto the next!

October #Bookspin took me forever
11.19.22
If book one was a reimagining of beauty and the beast, book two took what was new and unique about this interpretation and built a wonderful story of family and overcoming trauma. Definitely a case of book two being better than book one, my only complaint is the timeline was short, particularly for unraveling trauma. All set amid fantasy romance between immortals.
Oh, and be prepared for the author to be horney. Some.of the scenes. Phew.
I'm obsessed with this series now! 😍
I just finished this book and I am sitting here with no words. This second book of the series was even better than the first. Again I found myself hungry for more. I loved how this book went deeper into the characters relationships. However, I felt that the end was a bit rushed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved the second book in the series. Hard to put down. I love the way Sarah writes about mental and physical recovery. Picking up the next book from the library today

Very tough to choose just one. Near tie between A Court of Mist and Fury and Crooked Kingdom. But it has to be ACOMAF because it's Feyre's true introduction to Valeris and the gang. That's when the series picks up for me, ACOTAR is a decent book yes, but from ACOMAF it's fantastic.
So many other good C's too.
