Heh, hai, hot take. Not my faaaavourite, purely for the fact that I didn‘t like the main character **ducks from flaming projectile thrown** I‘m sorry, she irritated me-
I liked it enough, to keep on reading the series, though.

This is your sign to make your own reading journal. It‘s so fun and you can get so creative!! All you need is a notebook/sketchbook/ journal. I used a printer and some colored pens and some scissors and glue!
I just finished the #ShatterMe series and it has to be in the top of my favorite books. I highly recommend. 🩵🤍💙💚💛

Can anyone suggest me some more books like the Shatter me books? I read this a long time back but still can't get over it..and the other series just aren't doing it for me?
So I love a lot of quotes from a lot of books!!! so I‘m going to to start doing a daily quote!! my first couple are gonna be from Shatter Me!!
“Can you hear my heart? I want you to make a list of all your favorite things, and I want to be on it”. !!!!!!!! Ignite me!!!
I burned through this series at a ridiculous rate and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will say I didn‘t really see the point in the last novella, although I guess the assurance of a happy ending is always nice. Juliette is a compelling heroine, and I found the portrayal of mental illness and manipulation sensitive and compassionate. Nicely worked romance angle, too, well told with just enough angst and delicately phrases spice to make it interesting.
I haven‘t been on in a while! After a bit of a slump where I couldn‘t get into anything I tried to read, I was cured with The Lost Storyteller by Amanda Block. Am now ripping through Tahereh Mafi‘s Shatter Me series on Kindle in a tandem read with a friend, and reading Olivie Blake‘s The Atlas Six in paper. Loving both of them! Let the fantasy kick continue…
So I finished my TBR for the month already... Decided to make another one. I am almost done Shatter Me (a little under 3 hrs left) and then I can start one of these gems.
Has anyone read any of them? Any good??? Which one should I start next?
4⭐ it's still a pick for me even after reading it a second time and getting frustrated about the crossed out parts and the repetition and all the annoying things that I hated this time while reading it 😂
This was interesting, a YA superhero/dystopian world that I enjoyed but felt a little wanting. Maybe my expectations were too high? I‘ll give the series another go to see if it grows on me. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
Amazing, but not what I was expecting. I don‘t really know what I though this book would be, but it wasn‘t this. It was daring, dark, romantic, murderous, and thrilling. I have no clue what‘s going to happen in 10 more books but I‘m excited to see.
This book has been on my to read list for a while but frankly, it intimidated me. Now, I don‘t know why I put it off for so long. I really liked the main character, which is something that doesn‘t often happen in dystopian and fantasy books for me. I thought that the relationships between characters were well-written and realistic and, of course, I felt that I couldn‘t put the book down because of its well thought out plot!
4⭐️
“Welcome,” Castle says to me, gesturing with one hand, “to Omega Point.”
His smile is laced with dynamite. “Go to sleep.”
“Go to hell.”
He works his jaw. Walks to the door. “I‘m working on it.”
“At least I‘m honest,” he adds.
“You just agreed you‘re a liar!”
He raises his eyebrows. “At least I‘m honest about being a liar.”
This book is set in a dystopian time. The world was overrun by a corrupt government and climate change, everyone is complete controlled. The movement is called the reestablishment. The main character Juliette has a special ability that whenever she touches anyone they die. When her family discovered this they sent her away to a place worse than prison. The rest of the book entails the story of what she does after she escapes.
I can‘t believe I waited so long to read this! Loved it!

I was wondering if you guys could give me feedback on this book...
Have a good evening and a happy hump day!
Juliet was so unlikeable in this one but some of the language is so beautiful
Young Adult Fantasy is not normally a genre choice but this one did pull in & end up being a page turner & then a series purchase. A good one for the change up in pace and variety 🥶
Really out of my standard genre comfort zone but I loved it. I‘m moving right on to book two.
Aaaand another audio hold has come in at the same time as four others. 🤦♀️
Better get to it!
The Reestablishment locked Juliet up b/c her touch is fatal. Until, she finds out that a guard, Adam, is immune to her touch. He & the resistance help her escape & train her to fight against the Reestablishment.
I think I had too much hype for this book that I found the plot kind of boring. The writing itself was great! And the descriptions *chef‘s kiss* fantastic! I didn‘t find the characters that intriguing. We‘ll see how the next one goes.
Awful. Rambling inner monologue of a 17 year old sad girl. Lonely, unloveable &untouchable -until she gets a new roommate at the asylum-her crush.
The plot just happens, no depth, things make no sense (we walked through radiation, I can crush solid steel barehanded now, I stole a tank &no one noticed)
Booksta made me do it & they got me with ACOTAR. But this is bad bad. & a scene that was hyped as sexy was… not.
Does it get better as it goes?
Two of my friends recommended this book but I couldn‘t get into it. The romantic aspect seemed out of place for the character‘s condition. Plus, the author tried to reiterate the setting of a desolate society but it ended up sounding redundant. I felt that it was lacking depth.
This was ok. Easy reading and an interesting concept. BUT really felt like a part 1, didn‘t quite feel like a fully developed story in its own right but more like just the first part of a big story. It is obviously part of a series but in the first book especially I still want a fully developed story in its own right, a finished arc that sets up later arcs.
Such a good book . I have the second book but I have not started it but I‘m in love with the series so far.
Working my way through this series! Up next: restore me! Sooo good! 😍😍😍
My guilty pleasure is dystopian teen fiction so I easily devoured this. So glad there are so many books and novellas in this series. We have a great heroine, fantastic setting and what I‘m hoping will be a great love story. On to book two! #SeriesRead2022
