#bookreport & #weeklyforecast
#finished: A very productive week. I finished Flowers of the Killer Moon and just finished Indigo (my review will be up in the next day or two).

#currentlyreading: I am down to two books at the moment (Northwoods and The Essex Serpent), but will likely be starting a couple of the #upcomingreads in the next few days.

Continued below...

melissajayne Upcoming reads: I will be starting Cutting and 100 year old man this week, as they are both book club reads. I hope to start working on Last Mission to Tokyo this coming week as well, depends on how I am feeling.

Happy reading 📚

A Little Life: A Novel | Hanya Yanagihara

When you finally find that long-awaited TBR at the library, only to realize 2 people placed a hold on it right after you the very same day - so now you have to binge read an 800+ page novel 🫠

RaeLovesToRead Oh man, it took me SO LONG to read this book. It's a difficult one to binge because the content is so intense. Good luck! 1d
RaeLovesToRead Also, I went to see this in London last year. The play was incredible too. No idea how the actors do it twice daily though. Wow. 1d
reading.rainb0w Wow, that would be an intense show! I can definitely tell within these first hundred pages that it will be an emotional read. I'll see what I can get through. I may just have to return it and come back to it when it's available again if it's too intense to binge. I'm only 100 pages in 1d
reading.rainb0w @RaeLovesToRead 👆🏾 forgot to tag you in above comment 1d
RaeLovesToRead According to my GR review, it took me 6 months to read 😬😬😅 It is truly haunting and memorable though. 1d

I'm #currentlyreading Station Eleven and I'm a little lost. I find it hard to read with all these characters.
Tonight was reading on my sofa.

Not a fan of Nesta, but I've heard that I need to read this one before I continue with House of Flame & Shadow.

#currentlyreading Another #becauseoflitsy read. Very thankful Spotify allows free (if limited) access to audiobooks for premium members. I use it when there is a several month wait at the library.

This book is wonderfully done. Many of the stories are hard to hear.

Ruthiella I found this difficult to listen to and had to switch to print so I could put it aside when it became too much. 1w
Zuhkeeyah @Ruthiella I have a breather audiobook on standby when it gets to be too much. 1w

Attempting to make my way back to a monthly #PersephonePick with the tagged book. It seems like a good one to draw me back in, hitting a number of topics that I love in Persephone's catalogue - social history, domestic portraits, and London life. Here's to a great read! #CurrentlyReading

LeahBergen I really enjoyed this one! 1w

#finished: I got three books completed this past week and feel quite pleased with myself. I really liked Prequel, but was a bit disappointed with A Man Called Ove.

#currentlyreading: I am continuing to plod a long with The Alice Network, but am still enjoying it. Started Killers and The Essex Serpent.

Continued below...

melissajayne #upcomingreads: I hope to start Indigo and Seven Up this coming week and pick up Last Mission to Tokyo again.
