By this book, SJM knows who her audience is, she knows we‘ve been on this journey with her so far, we don‘t need boring long expositions- we‘re ready to get back in with our characters. It starts off interesting and stays that way - so far. ⬇️
StayCurious Some of my takeaways- Manon is starting to really come into her own. It was interesting to see Elide described as “demon possessed”. Vernon is a weasel. Funny that Erowan took on a new, handsome, athletic body. Although- wouldn‘t you? I love how loyal the members of Aelin‘s court are. Were we really thinking she‘d be welcomed back onto her throne with open arms? Yes, I kinda was. I hate old power grubbing men ⬇️ 8h

I‘m all about Rowan and Aelin now (something I never thought I‘d say given how much of a jerk he started out as)…them being separated is never a good thing…I‘ve rambled on long enough and barely touched the surface - a lots going on. BarkingMadRead I don‘t like that Rowan left, it worries me. I was so excited that Manon is becoming so sure of herself. I was so shocked that Aelin wasn‘t welcomed back, with everyone we‘ve met already calling her Queen. I‘m hoping Elide is ok, this demon thing worries me! 8h
