I‘m nearing the end of the first book and I really have to know, do we learn more about Geilie? I want to find out more and I hate to think that little glimpse is all I‘ll get!

This book! ❤️❤️ Soooo wonderful and exactly the sweet story you need when the world starts getting you down.
All of us who have worked retail can relate to Customer Service Wolf! My co-worker introduced me to this awesome webcomic about a wolf who runs a bookshop! And sometimes poor CS Wolf gets so frustrated he eats his customers 😂
This title made me chuckle a little 😛
I just couldn‘t do it. This book definitely held my interest but, between this and having to listen to the guy‘s voice constantly on the news, it‘s just Trump over saturation. And I do NOT need that in my life. I‘m running away now. DNF at 47%....*Also, I cropped that bizarre orange colored face. No one wants to look at that 😂 #sorrynotsorry
I‘m on my lunch hour so I finally have time to get started on the #throwbackreadathon! First up is Sounder. I can‘t remember if I read this as a kid. It‘s a Newberry winner and sounds wonderful.
“What is this ‘white trash‘?” asked the model. “They‘re people just like me,” said Trump, “only they‘re poor.” - page 22 - 23 Boy, is that ever the truth. ☹️
I told myself I wasn‘t going to read it. But the temptation was too great. And when he tried to stop the publication, that‘s when I went and bought it. Now the question is, will I make it through or hurl the book at the wall in a fit of rage?
I‘ve been thinking about next year‘s #LitsyReadingChallenge and trying to come up with ideas for the “War/Military Memoir” prompt. Military history is definitely not one of my favorites so this was a hard one! But living in WA, the Japanese internment during WWII is a very important part of our history. In addition to Farewell to Manzanar, this is a memoir of that time. I haven‘t decided which one to read yet though! Any other suggestions? #LRC
These #catpicsforerin are making my night ❤️ I don‘t have a kitty so I had to settle for LOLCats
Spending my lunch hour with the Susan, Esther, and Daisy. I love them!
My BOTM shipment finally arrived after sitting in Nevada for 5 days! Love the stickers they included in the box! #botm #bookmail
I was so excited to hear about the #throwbackreadathon taking place in January! I‘m just thinking about all the books I loved as a kid that I can revisit! I especially liked the Sunfire series. If you were a girl back in the eighties and nineties you might‘ve read one or two of these. And there‘s no way I can leave out R.L. Stine! And Christopher Pike!
These books were so much fun. I was giggling the whole way through, recognizing myself in so much of it. The second book wasn‘t quite as good, in my opinion. It felt like she had a lot of leftover strips that just wouldn‘t make it into the first, so she crammed them into another volume. But it was still an enjoyable read.
It was hard to choose this month! All of the selections sounded wonderful. It took me a few hours but I finally narrowed it down to two! I‘m serious! I actually had to think about it that long! 😝
Happy Thanksgiving to the American Littens!
It took me a few tries to get into this book and I really can‘t say for sure why. But I‘m really enjoying it this time. I think I‘ll make it through the entire thing! Though it‘ll have to be a chapter at a time. This is my lunch-hour read!
I couldn‘t control myself this month! I did snag “Sleeping Beauties” for free for re-joining though! I haven‘t read a Stephen King novel in years! #botm
The old stories drew dragons the way jewels drew men. No dragon could resist one told aloud. But the stories didn‘t just lure dragons. They made them stronger. Telling such stories was forbidden, dangerous, even deadly.
My sister is reading this and keeps sending me funny entries. She needs to read faster so I can finally borrow it!
This book was heartbreaking. One of the best I‘ve read this year. This definitely isn‘t a complainti but I‘m a girl who likes things tied up. I wish there had been a bit more closure for some of the characters. I can‘t always get what I want though and it certainly didn‘t detract from the story. And Bebe‘s story had an unexpected ending! I thought I had that figured out! #LFEReadalong
Uppercase has a contest going on now through the end of the month! Enter to win 3 free months! http://vy.tc/e5d6D32
Finally catching up on the latest installments in this series. We get Alice‘s story in this one and there‘s a particularly nasty trick-playing fae. Number six is another magical addition and I just never want this series to end.
Literally everyone in this book is making me angry. That‘s not a bad thing - I‘m loving it. I close the book and fume over them like they‘re real people. It‘s a very compelling story. But I could honestly punch all of them right now, especially Mia and Mrs. Richardson #lfereadalong
I just have to say, the toothpick incident...epic. I wonder why no one tried that when I was in high school 😂 #LFEReadalong
I‘m a few days late but I‘m so down for the #LFEReadAlong #BOTMBuddyRead
I came across this at work and couldn't resist the whimsical illustrations! It's a great children's book about the responsibilities of owning a pet.
This book is gripping. I have a hard time putting it down. But right now it's too disturbing. The thought of a worldwide pandemic that kills most of the population. You get off a plane to find the world is basically ending and you're stuck there for years because there is nowhere else to go. And you never hear from your loved ones again. My next read needs to be something sweet and optimistic 😢
Hello everyone! I know it's been too long but I've been off having fun! I spent August in England visiting my boyfriend. I'm home now missing him and his wonderful country. 😢
I started this lovely book before I left and I'm trying to finish it now. I love her artwork. It's so sweet and cozy!
Hey guys! I disappeared for a month there as this whole working two jobs thing has been a bit stressful. And I haven't had nearly enough time for reading! I did finish this hilarious book, however. I laughed and c&p especially strange passages to my sweetheart. He enjoyed it as well!
I had to show you guys the frankly adorable picture of "the romance reader." ❤️
It's kind of sad that romance readers get painted this way. It's silly. I've known men that read them!
I haven't read The Book of Speculation but I just might add it to my TBR pile after this. Beautiful writing. My only complaint is this could definitely have been longer.
Some great choices this round! And I had to add an extra from last month. I'm really not an addict... #botm
It took me way too long to finish this. My work schedule hasn't left me with much time for reading. But I finally did!....and now I have to wait for a sequel. I'm hoping there will be one. The ending was left a bit open. I loved Kincaid's descriptions and world-building. The introduction to the Chrysanthemum was wonderful!
I recently got a second job at a bookstore 😀 I'm ridiculously excited but I haven't had much time for reading, unfortunately. As you can see, the new schedule hasn't stopped me from buying more books!
It's #nationalpuppyday so here is a picture of my Bear, caught mid-yawn. He's two, so technically not a puppy anymore but he always will be to me. He's such a silly boy and I adore him. He has taken over both of the armchairs in the living room. King Bear 🐻🐶
These are my #happyreads. Mandy was my favorite book as a kid and these two are still some of my favorites even as an adult. #marchintoreading
