Happy belated #bookloversday from the bookshelf critters in my office!
I did a small dragon storytime today at library outreach this morning! Dragons + library = PURE AWESOMENESS! 😁🐉💕📚
I remembered I have Libby and decided to scroll through tonight.
This book is super adorable and if my nephew, who is 3 and once called himself a taco boy while eating tacos, doesn‘t have this he needs it ASAP! Even the end papers are adorable on this book.
I did end up going for a walk today, after-all. Granted, it was to attend Food Truck Friday, where I ate a bunch of tacos & drank a bunch of beer...but I still walked there! 😆 This is a shot of the pond near our house, taken on our walk home.
1/4 walks this week down. 🙌🏻
Now I‘m in bed, about to start reading “To Night Owl from Dogfish.” I‘ve been getting progressively grumpier all week. It‘s time to relax, hardcore. 😴📚
Dragons Love Tacos, written by Adam Rubin and illustrated by Daniel Salmieri is a funny MF book. It‘s a New York Times bestseller! It would be great for S or IR. Dragons LOVE tacos, who doesn‘t? But remember....if you don‘t keep the toppings mild you‘re in for some red-hot trouble! Storytelling this book would be fun for students, after you could even have a taco class party! This link will bring you to a website with different activities to go
Celebrated my niece's 7th birthday this evening with a book themed party! She picked her party food from some of her favorite books, and this was one of many.
A friend and I were able to put together a donation box of 9 books for Libros Para El Viaje💛 We shipped straight from Amazon to Casa Camino Real Bookstore in Las Cruces, NM 💛 We got back the nicest thank you letter, donation receipt, and photos of the books we sent on display 💛 I am so grateful to be a part of such an important humanitarian effort in the U.S. 💛 Want to donate? https://riverdogbookco.com/refugeebookdrive/ 💛 #librosparaelviaje
This is currently our favourite book. Dragons & tacos are a great mix! Especially since my picky eater child actually loves tacos 😆 🌮 #children
This book is a New York Times Best Selling humorous F picture book I would use for RT or DR to enhance fluency and introduce vocabulary used within the book. I would also incorporate cause and effect lesson to ensure comprehension. The text will induce laughter as students learn about how much dragons love tacos, how much they hate spicy salsa, and the consequences of eating spicy salsa. #UCFLAE3414SP18
A wonderful NYT best seller fictional (F)book that connects children to the story with humor. Learn how to make friends with dragons by luring them with the two things they love most.... a party with a lot of tacos! Just be careful to hide the salsa otherwise, you have a red-hot disaster on your hands! Don‘t worry, if a disaster occurs, dragons are nice enough to help you rebuild your house. #UCFLAE3414SP18 See comments for more..
Obviously the best way to eat tacos. 🌮 🦖
“Dragons Love Tacos” written by Adam Rubin and illustrated by Daniel Salmieri is a unique and adorable book about just that..dragons that love tacos; all types of tacos! This New York Times best seller is relatable for all ages and a perfect way to keep children interested in this witty, fun spirited read aloud. This website includes some print outs to go along with the cute illustrations within the book:
Dragons Love Tacos is a MF children‘s book written by Adam Rubin and illustrated by Daniel Samieri. This would be a great book for an RA in the classroom. I found a great website that has a lesson plan for the book and worksheets. https://rampages.us/spencerc4/wp-content/uploads/sites/15095/2016/05/Read-Aloud-.... Okay, these aren't dragons but they are fierce and would probably love tacos.
These are the iron lions at the Omaha Henry Doorley Zoo, and I grew up climbing on them! Some of my favorite beasts.
At my preschool, we had a task to decorate a pumpkin along with a book. We were given Dragons Love Tacos. The kids painted the base, the finer details were done by me. Today we made tacos 🌮 to go with our dragon. 😊
Dragons LOVE tacos, but they HATE spicy salsa. So what happens when you give them something spicy at their beloved taco party?
This book was funny and the kids loved it! They especially loved pointing at all the different dinosaurs on every page!
Definitely a great circle time book for my munchkins!

This was adorable and so funny! Highly recommend it to any children's book lover or a parent looking for a great new book for their kiddos. Check out my full review here: http://www.ericarobynreads.com/2017/09/book-review-dragons-love-tacos.html?m=1
Zooey got a dragon with a taco plushie from one of her favorite books. So we had a taco party tonight to celebrate. We ate a pant-load of tacos and buried all the spicy salsa in the back yard (well, we would have if we had any spicy salsa).
Again, I'm super biased because I LOVE dragons and dinosaurs, but this book ROCKS! It's SO popular with kids and I found a plethora of resources. Dragons Love Tacos tells the story of a hungry dragon and his love for tacos.. Small tacos, large tacos, ALL tacos! ❤ It's Taco Party Time for your classroom!! Day 5 of #riotgrams - #bookishgoods 💗 I don't have any tattoos (eep, needles!) so I went with the goods. I have an affinity for stuffed animals and am always thrilled when a favorite kids book is given a corresponding stuffed animal. ❤❤Pictured are a Pooh Bear, some Sandra Boynton critters, the Taco Dragon, the throw pillow my parents gave me for Christmas, a Library Bat, and Skippyjon Jones.
