A nice cozy/ slice of life book. Caitlin Rozakis did such a great job with the pace and showing the relationships (romance, friendship, etc) without having to tell the reader.
I read it for my library‘s #bookchallenge and for #r/fantasy bingo. It is fulfilling the “cozy” prompt for both.
I hope there are more set in this universe! 5/5 stars
pickI was not a fan of Aelin‘s character arc in this one (no spoilers) I just felt the book could go for shock factor without her STILL not sharing information. I liked Lorcan‘s and Lysandra‘s arcs! Overall one of the better books in the series. —- Book 19 of my 25 in 2025 I need a break from this series to digest. So I think I‘ll do a few mysteries next.

I needed a book with a chronic illness in it, but I did not want to read a really sad one. I found this one through Google and really enjoyed it.
The plot of this one was unique, and involves really sweet friendships.

Was expecting a lot more of this story since I‘ve heard good things about it. Although the characters in dept emotions were described in a real way and the historical background of this made me feel intrigued of the story. I wish the bromance or particularly “romance” would have been more built up. The narrator of the book were truly amazing and made the book more enjoyable during my commutes.
