I. Finally. Finished. It. This was a bit of a struggle. I was really really sad to leave these characters behind and very attached to all of them. I found it hard to turn the pages because of that. I kept thinking something horrific was about to happen. I skim read parts just so I could make it. But then, close to the end- holy plot twist Batman! Stick it out kids 😅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nina is still my favorite, I loved her pov. Every chapter had different pov and it wasn't really fun every time.

Nina's story was the most thrilling because she was living so dangerous life. Otherwise this had a tiny bit more politics & war that I would have preferred.

This book managed to make me feel something and I enjoyed reading.

I loved revisiting this world. Bardugo sure knows how to tell a story! As I have come to expect from the author, there was awesome world building, fabulous characters and a fast paced plot. A great adventure! Can't wait to read what she has in store for readers next. 4.5⭐

7th book in this series. I‘m really enjoying this YA series. This book didn‘t disappoint me. Full of actions, various twists, sad and funny scenes. We see some characters from Six of crow duology. Many characters can be described as “Ulfleden-wolf-blooded” which means “when a child is odd, behaves strangely...her (his) place is with the wolves...she (he) doesn‘t belong”. I think I‘m wolf-blooded, welcome to the pack 🐺 3.8/4⭐️

Leigh Bardugo just can't go wrong, I haven't read anything by her I just didn't fall face first into love! Rule of Wolves follows our favorite Ravkan characters Nikolai and Zoya trying to stop war with the Fjerda and Nina, one of the character loves of my life undercover trying not to fall in love herself while mourning in Fjreda. I open these books and it feels like home with how real the world has been built and how much I love the stories.

Hey everyone! It‘s been a while! Life happened and I‘ve been off of Litsy but I‘m happy to be back. :)

And that‘s a wrap on Shadow and Bone. If anything, expect nothing less from Leigh Bardugo. The plot and the characters are well developed, especially Zoya.

Like the previous books, the ending isn‘t what I expected. It took me completely by surprise. It‘s bittersweet now that I‘m done with the series but I highly recommend it!

While I‘m still enthralled with the book and will be finished, I wanted to mark the page in which I officially started my critical review of Bardugo and the Grishaverse as a whole. Still enough book to turn some thoughts more positively but this book ruined a lot of my enjoyment of the series

julesG Ditto. It feels a bit as if she wrote it with the TV series in mind. 8mo
CollapsingLibrary @julesG yes! And having all the characters from the original series and six of crows duology together is just showcasing how it‘s the same cast of characters with just slight differences and they‘re starting to meld into one another, in my opinion. 8mo

I finished this one yesterday, continues the story from King of Scars. I enjoyed it and was happy with the ending. It does look like the ending is left open for another book. Not sure if she needs to write more though.

I need help! What do you guys do with all the bookish swag that comes from preorders? I didn't realize it but I'm starting to get quite the collection of prints, pins and cards (this isn't nearly all of it) and I have no idea what to do with it! Throw me your ideas!!

#collector #swag #likeineedmorestufflayingaround #wheredoesitgo #cantturndownfreeshit

DinoMom I donate the stuff I get to local charities like the animal shelters who do online or silent auctions. Or if you join book swaps some may be good for those . 10mo
TheKidUpstairs For stuff you want to keep: you can get cool pinboards for your pins to help organize/ display them, smaller prints/postcards make great bookmarks. Stuff you don't necessarily want to keep for yourself but is in good condition and cool stuff is great to keep in a bin/ box if you do swaps, to pass on the bookish goodies to someone else who will love them! 10mo
Soubhiville I agree with @TheKidUpstairs and @DinoMom , you can put them in swap boxes or find a Little Free Library near you to put them in. Someone else will be excited about the things you don‘t want. I have several prints framed and a “book bag” tote I put all my pins on. 😊 10mo

FantasyChick Those are some great ideas! I never think of passing them on in swaps. And I love the pinning to the tote idea. I never know what to do with pins but I always want to keep them 🤣 Thanks for the suggestions @Soubhiville @TheKidUpstairs @DinoMom 10mo
ShelleyBooksie Awesome swag! 10mo
Eeberst Start a themed pin board! You can get a cork board of any size to hang up and even paint it to match your theme, and watch your collection grow as you add your pins :) 10mo

Just finished Rule of Wolves today and I have SO many feelings!

I love Leigh Bardugo‘s books so much, but I always have a hard time getting thru them. It takes me a lot longer to read her books than it would normally take me to read a book of the same size.
It‘s so worth it tho, her characters are just 🤌🏼
Now on to The Atlas Six

So fun! I didn‘t like this quite as much as King of Scars, since it relied pretty heavily—especially in the first third—on one of my bookish pet peeves, but Bardugo pulled it off well. And she definitely pulled off a few twists at the end that I didn‘t see coming but was completely satisfied by!

Also… hopefully another book coming soon with more Inej? 😄

I really enjoyed this book...not only because we saw my favorite characters again (crows) but also because it was an awesome story! I mean, Sankta Zoya of the Storm! I give this book 9/10🍪 I HATE that this is the last grishaverse story...for now...anyway.

I really loved this book. The world that Leigh Bardugo has created is genius and keeps growing stronger with every book. There were several great twists, the story never let up, Nicholai is such a lovable character, and the ending was brilliant.

A worthy conclusion of the Nikolai duology. I didn‘t love all the places Bardugo took this one, but I was just happy to spend some more time with these characters. Having read through all the Grishaverse books over the past few months, I‘m really impressed by how Bardugo‘s writing improved with the two duologies. The cover of this book is also so gorgeous! Looking forward to another entry since this one definitely ended on a cliffhanger.

persephone1408 Next on my reading list! 🖤🖤 11mo
Kimberlone There are cameos from Alina and Kaz and the Crows in this book, and the ending clearly sets up a new adventure that will presumably take us back to Ketterdam in the next book. 11mo

After I finished King of Scars, I immediately put this book on hold from my library on Libby. The original estimate was a 4 week wait, but my hold came in only 5 days - much faster than I expected (I‘m guessing the other holds finished quickly…)! I dove in last night before bed and am just starting the 3rd chapter now. Excited to see how Leigh Bardugo wraps up the Grishaverse (for now, I wouldn‘t be surprised if more books come out eventually).

Mehso-so

I enjoyed the last 100 or so pages kf the book, but the rest was a bit of a struggle to get through for me. It felt a bit too structured, easy and predictable to me, but I did enjoy where most of the characters ended up in the end (with the exception of a few that seem very out of character). I gave it a so-so mostly because I only enjoyed the last small bit. I did think Nina's story was the more exciting one, and I'm sad for it to maybe end?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This final book in the Grishaverse was so, so good! It is definitely in the running for my favorite of all Bardugo‘s books.
So many fantastic cameos from past characters, and Bardugo continues to give us just enough information that we can follow the story but hides enough from us that there are continual surprises.
Also, at the end, it seems this may not be the final Grishaverse book after all.... 😉
Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book and I think it was even better than the first part of this duology. It had a lot of amazing action, cute and romantic moments as well as everything else I wanted and expected from it. “Everyone mourns the first blossom, who will weep for the rest of the fall?
