Had to play! @dabbe #tlt

Threads
Spotify
PlutoTV

dabbe You're the second Threads user; I will have to check that out! Thanks for playing! 💜🖤🧡 6mo
Megabooks @dabbe I missed Twitter after it became so ugly, so I enjoy Threads. I don‘t think Meta quite has their algorithm down yet, but I appreciate that it‘s an evolving app that has a lot of positivity and potential. 6mo
dabbe @Megabooks I need positivity; that's why I love Litsy so much! 🤩 6mo
AmyG I missed Twitter, too. Threads is getting much better….or I am just getting used to it. 6mo
Megabooks @AmyG perhaps a bit of both for me. When Twitter was at its peak, I think the algorithm was much better than Meta‘s at showing me what I was interested in, but I appreciate that Threads is still early and evolving. And really under a lot of pressure because of its rapid growth. 6mo

Thanks for the tag, @TheSpineView and @Andrew65 !

1. With my background in history, I‘d go back in time, but only if I could bring my modern amenities with me!

2. I don‘t read too many time travel novels, but I have read the Outlander series. So, I would probably say Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.

#Two4Tuesday

TheSpineView Modern Amenities are a must! Thanks for playing! 2y

Something we all need to hear, especially in such tough times and news of new variants. Easy to be sucked into negativity.#ThinkPositiveBePositive

Everyone on Litsy considered themselves tagged.

DGRachel You are amazing, too. 🥰 2y
Velvetfur Aaww you tagged me! Thank you so much, you are amazing too 💜 2y
TheBookHippie Last week we were the only school district open 😅. Will see what tomorrow brings….. thinking of you as you navigate changes ♥️ 2y

Librarybelle Thank you…you are amazing as well! 🥰 2y
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie All school areas have been open here all year. No sign that is likely to change despite regularly 40,000 - 50,000 known cases in U.K. every day. We are seeing 1000 deaths a week on average. Still 4 months in school for me. A lot to do in that time. Sending positive thoughts, stay safe 🥰🥰🥰 (edited) 2y
wanderinglynn Thanks for the tag! 🥰 You are amazing too!💚 2y
Eggbeater Thank you! You are amazing, too! 💕🤗 2y
CarolynM Thanks for the tag💕 So many amazing people on Litsy, none more so than you. Have a great day. 2y
Nute Thanks for the tag!💕 I‘m only trying to mimic what I see exemplified by so many amazing folks (starting with you, Andrew) here on Litsy! 2y
tracey38 Many positive and loving thoughts to all. I am also focusing as much as possible on warm and fuzzy things right now during this holiday season, trying to find the joy in life where I can. Watching warm, fuzzy movies, reading good books, staring at my Christmas tree, talking to my exuberant and funny nieces, taking my scaredy-cat dog for short walks. 🙂💛 2y
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 You as well!!! 🤍 2y
Lizpixie Thanks sweetie!😘 I can‘t stop thinking about how this new variant has just shown up in NSW, it‘s freaking me out. I‘ve only just got vaccinated coz of health complications now they‘re saying they‘re not sure it‘ll work on this one. I can see another harsh lockdown coming after Xmas🙅🏻 But tis the season to be jolly & merry with goodwill towards all people. Unless they‘re not wearing a mask 😷 (edited) 2y
Eggs Thank you Andrew💙👍🏼🥰 @Andrew65 2y
LeahBergen Thanks and right back at ya! 😘😘 2y
Cinfhen Thanks for thinking of me, you lead by example 💙🙌🏻 2y
Kimzey Thanks, @Andrew65 ! 2y
Cathythoughts Thankyou Andrew 👍🏻❤️ 2y
Andrew65 @Lizpixie Here they are saying the vaccines should still help the variant have milder symptoms and from a doctor I saw from South Africa saying the variant is leading to mild symptoms, so fingers crossed. 2y
Clwojick Thank you! 💚❤️ 2y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you!! You are amazing 💙 2y

I‘m pulling together my stack for #WinterGames. What are your favourite Winter themed or Christmas themed books?

Looking to find good books to get stuck into during December.

Clwojick Most of the holiday books I read last year were romance, so I‘m not sure if that‘s your genre. I‘ll take a peek and see if there were any mysteries that I gave 4/5 stars. 2y

As I continue my recovery from COvID I was pleased to finally be able to get back to some reading but less than half what I normally get through depute not being at work.

I finished 2 books and have started a Buddy read, an ebook and an audiobook, altogether 1049 pages read. Quite an eclectic mixture of books this week.

#BookReport

Cinfhen So glad you‘re on the road to recovery 💜 3y
Cathythoughts Like @Cinfhen I‘m so glad too ❤️ 3y
Bookwomble I somehow managed to miss your posts in my feed and I'm only just seeing that you and your wife have been ill. I'm glad to hear you're both coming through the other side and are feeling better. Take care and give yourself the same time and consideration you would extend to others in your situation 💖 3y

#WeeklyForecast

This is my last full week before I‘m back at school so hoping to pack a lot of reading in and aiming to finish one book a day. Three of them I am already part way through.

Also will be doing the #20in4 Readathon from Friday which always increases my reading.

TheLudicReader My last week off, too. 😂 Also hoping to finish a couple more books before I go back. 3y

#WondrousWednesday

1. Sometimes. But if I can guess too much I end up not liking it as much.
2. Kushiel‘s Legacy by Jacqueline Carey, and the Gesthemane Brown mysteries.
3. Love a good quest story.
4. My herb garden. Made a lovely pesto to go with some pasta tonight.

Thanks for the tag @Eggs and @RaeLovesToRead 😁

1. It varies, sometimes I do, sometimes I don‘t and often over think it.

2. How do you choose one? Tony Hill / Carol Jordan Series by Val McDermid

3. Very open about my reading so no particular tropes, just like a good story, good mystery etc.

4. My books!

#WondrousWednesday @Eggs

Enchanted_Bibliophile Love Tony & Carol. 3y
Andrew65 @Enchanted_Bibliophile A brilliant series. 3y
