Montgomery‘s deep love for animals and the lessons they teach us emanates from her words. I related to her devotion to her dogs and I particularly liked the section on the Great Pacific Octopus. (I was reminded of Marcellus from Remarkably Bright Creatures!) It was just very short; I wish it were more expansive. π§
