Enjoyed this a lot. It's hard to find decent horror that also works in the medium of comics. #comics #horror

Finished this at work and it was so aggressively not my cup of tea that I feel bad reviewing it. Suffice to say it was a comforting, chaste romance and I'm seriously not into those at all. #fantasy

Still thinking enough about this book to doodle one. Quite an interesting exploration of almost all aspects of our current understanding of these beasts. #paleontology #dinosaur #sauropod #science

I LOVED this. Not at all what I was expecting. Melancholy, tragic, hopefull, and intimate. I wish I could find more scifi like this. #scifi

suzisteffen Omg this book had my heart pounding SO MUCH by the end. I‘ve read two sequels/parallel time books, and I think a third is coming soon! 2mo

As much a memoir as an exploration of Ice Age America, this book somehow manages to put thousands of years of mysterious history into perspective. I'll never think about land bridges or megafauna the same way again. #prehistory #paleontology #earlyhumans

GingerAntics Seems legit to me. 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics I think so too. Nice counterpoint! 2mo
GingerAntics Right? If you‘re going to be confined to the Earth‘s atmosphere, you should definitely be reading of further, more adventurous travels. 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics I love that idea! 2mo
GingerAntics How was the flight? I‘m guessing you‘ve landed by now. 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics not bad, thanks! A d even better with a good book! 😁 2mo
GingerAntics Always!!! I once attempted to read Grapes of Wrath on a plane for my summer reading assignment. I was not impressed, so now I tend to sleep on planes now...unless we go sun country, because they pass out warm chocolate chip cookies!!! 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics Haha! I wish I had gotten cookies on my flight. 2mo
GingerAntics Warm chocolate chip cookies make everything better. Right? 2mo
GingerAntics We took a flight once that was at the end of the day. Sun country rarely flies red eye flights, or didn‘t at the time, so they had a bunch of cookies left over, so before we even got on the plane they were passing out cookies to get rid of them. SO many cookies on that flight. All of them warm and delicious!!! 💙💙💙 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics why can't this ever be one of my flights?? 2mo
GingerAntics I haven‘t seen a lot of sun country lately. Maybe they don‘t even do that anymore. That was almost 20 years ago now. Sheesh, I do not like that I started high school 20 years ago. 2mo
CorinnaBechko @GingerAntics Haha! Still, that beats actually being IN high school! 2mo
GingerAntics Fair point. Very valid point!!! lol 2mo

I loved this! It's not often you read fiction by a famous scientist which actually plays with human concerns. It's certainly not a perfect piece of writing, but the context provided in the foreword and afterword elevate the entire book to greatness. #timetravel #dinosaur #paleontology #scifi

Interesting subject matter and an engaging narrator for the audiobook, but a bit "lady other prize" for me. Still, I appreciate the author's intent even if the protagonist never did go to a world where dinosaurs never went extinct. #scifi

Wow. This is a sobering read of the type that changes you for the better after the last page is absorbed. Epic in scope, it provides context both culturally and from a natural history perspective about a huge area that shaped the United States yet seldom gets talked. It was a shock to read numerous instances where my hometown was a player, for better and for worse, in historical events. In short, I cried but I loved it. #naturalhistory

Like any anthology, there were good stories, so-so stories, and great stories. It did suffer from s bit of repetition of ideas in that several authors explored the same legend, but at least it gave me a bit of Halloween in March. #horror #anthology #halloween
