Finished this as we were cruising down the Florida Turnpike towards the Orlando airport 🤣🤣. This is Hiassen humor at its finest, imo. It's also fairly dated and contains language that reflects the age of the book.

Pretty hilarious.

SamAnne I read my first Hiassen on my Florida trip in December. Stormy Weather. Yes, dated. But really damn funny. I love his conservation ethic and admire his work to protect the Everglades. I will read more of him. 12mo

@Avanders I‘m sorry! Your #coffeebeanbookclub book will be headed your way Monday. I‘ve been dealing with a sick dog, including a 2 am visit to the Emergency Vet for possible surgery (which she didn‘t need thank goodness). She is starting to mend, but I don‘t want to leave her alone yet. Again, I am so sorry. I‘ll overnight it, so you should have by Tuesday.

So Littens, I thought I'd let you know I'm booked In for surgery tomorrow morning. I'm okay , but I need to get quite a big lump removed from my breast. Its not cancerous , but breast cancer does run in my family.

I'm not going to lie, I'm really scared, but I know I'll be okay! This is my recovery bundle , so I'm all set 🙋🏻

BUT please gals, constantly check yourself !! 🎗
